Greater than one weekFor DL data sets. MSI Z690-P board came with standoffs and screws for M.2 sockets, the 980 had none, just the SSD with heatsink. I plugged it in, secured it with the screw, booted the system (Win 11), initialized the SSD, added a volume, and was done. Winsat showed 3716 MB/s random read, 7143 MB/s sequential read, 2306 MB/s sequential write, about 10 times faster than my older Crucial SATA SSD. Im very satisfied. Heatsink made sense, based on previous experience with a Mac SSD; there are inexpensive 3rd party heat sinks, but I opted for the Samsung built-in one.

> 3 dayThis was super easy to install in my PS5. The only trick was sliding the cover off the PS5, which I watched a video to make sure I pulled in the correct direction to make sure I didnt break any tabs or anything. Other than that, its one screw to open the very obvious expansion port cover, then you pop the stick in and move another screw to hold it in place. Sony clearly intends for people to make this one simple surgery on their system; everything else is hidden from view behind other panels. When I turned the PS5 on, it recognized and formatted the new hard drive, and it had 1.01TB storage on it.

> 3 dayNormally this NVME is about 350 dollars but I was able to grab it on sale for 150 dollars. Using it for storing games, I am impressed how fast the load times are. Going from a HDD to this reduces loading times between 50-75% (only tested Doom Eternal and GTA V for these). Make sure your motherboard has at least a Gen 4 M.2 drive, otherwise you wont get the full potential of the incredible read/write speeds. For the price point I paid, definitely dont wait to upgrade.

> 3 dayI got the 1TB model on sale and it works amazingly well. I heard the 2TB models might have problems, so make sure to do your research before buying and make sure the product number is the right one, or just go with 1TB like I did and you will have 0 worries, but what you will have is blazing fast nvme ssd storage perfect for gaming with RTX on
