Id rate this 5 stars if it wasnt for the fact that Samsung doesnt include one of those screws required to hold the drive in. I had to temporarily use tape to hold the thing down as I went out and hunted down the proper screws.

In 30 Minutes you can have it installed and formatted. And with a plethora of available tutorials online, you will have no trouble getting it done. Super fast load times on games. Worth every penny.

You would think a 980 would be an upgrade from an 970, but its not. This stick thermal throttles and is always over heating. Ambient temps do not warrant over heating and my case gives plenty of fresh air. This stick is in a build w/ the 970 which performs well, and doesnt over heat at all.

only takes 15 minutes for installation + the drive clone in windows 11 since i have 2 m.2 slot.. run fairly fast, replace a 512GB to this 1TB

Works as intended

Great SSD to upgrade if youre stuck on a old hard drive or building a whole new computer. For the price its a high quality SSD with fast read and write speeds, overkill for todays games. If you need to transfer one drive to this drive use Samsung migitation software that is free exclusively for Samsung drives.
