I have experienced the exact same problem as written in a previous review. For $200 plus and samsung brand I expected this to be a simple plug n play set up as stated in description above. Unfortunately, i wasted a ton of time thinking this was operator error. I spent time with the IT team from my work trying to fix remotely. Then finally brought it to the office for them to look at. they were unable to get it to work with a number of laptops & desktop computers. I am unable to get anything to work on it aside from the response check source device that comes up on the screen when I plug something in. I take my laptop to and from work daily. At work it plugs right into 2 additional screens and never has a problem. The packaging arrived in great condition and well packed. No visible damage anywhere. This incredibly frustrating I expect Samsung and Amazon to provide better quality for the price. I question the 4 star reviews. Nothing can be done I guess. Wasted $250

Its really good for the price. I wish I knew the screen didnt rotate counter-clockwise, it only rotates 90 degrees clockwise.

Love love love love! Not much more to say. Saw a lot of reviews saying the joystick on the back was complicated to use. This is not the case at all! I rather enjoy the design and for me it only took about 10 seconds to get use to it. Great picture and color quality. Not much more you can ask for.

There were a couple people in the reviews who could not figure out how to turn the thing on. Well let me tell you The power button is a toggle control, lol. What a headache other than that great monitor.

Bought two for my work-from-home setup. Monitor works well and picture quality is fine for the price. You probably wouldnt notice it if you only have one monitor or dont keep it at eye level but a lean is very apparent with 2 monitors side-by-side. The power cord plugs into the monitor on the left side. The weight of the cord pulls the left corner down about half a centimeter lower than the right corner which I find annoying when having two side-by-side. You can sort of fix it if you remove all tension from the cord and straighten the monitor but it will go back to crooked as soon as the cable is bumped. Its totally works fine as a monitor but the power cord placement is a serious design flaw.

Bought 2 of these 20 months ago. 1 of the 2 started flickering occasionally within the first week. I should have returned it, but I had too much going on at the time and dint want to deal with the hassle. If you get one of these and you see anything like this my advice is to return it when you can. The problem just got worse over time. And I put up with it because it was intermittent (and I was using 3 other monitors on the same computer so Id just turn it off when that started happening. Now Ive given up, the flickering is now constant. Ironically Im ordering another. Why --- because its cheap. Whats different is Ill follow my own advice this time and return it if theres any sign of issue. The other monitor has worked without issue. So at this rate, Ive got a 50% chance I dont get a bad one.

Very good price for a monitor with fully adjustable in height, angle, and rotation. Picture is sharp and has good color.

BEWARE IF YOU DO NOT USE A MS WINDOWS PC WITH THIS MONITOR! After setting this monitor up, I learned from a Samsung rep that it will NOT automatically pivot when connected to a non-MS Windows PC. The Samsung support rep informed me that you would need to go into the operating system settings and manually change the orientation EACH TIME you want to change from landscape to portrait orientation and vice versa. Also, you must tilt the monitor before pivoting it, as the base interferes with the monitor when pivoting. Also, the power cable is just 4 feet long. I guess they saved one dollar in manufacturing costs this way.

The Samsung FT450 Series is a budget-friendly business monitor with comfortable ergonomics, advanced image quality and modern design. IPS panel technology delivers crisp type and colorful images, even at off-angles. Thin bezels help to make dual monitor configurations more seamless. Connectivity is made simple through dual HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, along with an HDMI to DVI converter for legacy applications. The fully adjustable stand helps to make long days more comfortable.
