Returning item. Every app I opened crashed after 5 min. I tried all Samsungs tips. Deleted the app redownloaded. Reset the tablet. Finally gave up and returned it. Very disappointed.

I bought this to replace my husbands Fire tablet. He loves it. It is fast and so responsive. It is a good size to hold while sitting in his recliner. All the apps he uses work great with this tablet. There were several apps that just would not work with the Fire tablet. This tablet should last for several years.

The screen on this tablet cannot be beat for video streaming. AMOLED screen is absolutely stunning.

Samsung devices are great and this one hits a sweet spot for simplicity and connectivity.

Honestly kind of disappointed by the tablet. It really pretty but you could neve hold it in one hand. the bezel is just too small and the backing is too slippery for you to hold onto it. So I got a case..... which they all suck including the Samsung keyboard one as they do nothing to address the bezel issue. There is no palm rejection so god forbid you thumb slips onto the screen. If that happens none of your inputs with your fingers register. The aspect ratio of the screen actually makes it pretty small in comparison to other tablets in the same price point to the point that it almost feels un-natural to take nots one because its the same height (or similar too) as a piece of paper but narrower by like 1.5 which does make a big difference with how it feels .Great sound. Utterly fantastic screen in terms of resolution and refresh rate. Like its beautiful, great colors but just not big enough. Apps are meh as to be expected from a tablet with android and the os is a year behind standard android which is weird to me.

Like most of Samsungs gadgets this tablet checks all the boxes. I cant be too specific on the battery life because we all use our tablets differently, but I can use mine for reading, browsing, studying, and some games for up to two and a half days. The display is colorful and clear.

Being my first newish tablet from the past 2 years and only having old and outdated ones, this was something that was better than expected. I mainly use this tablet for school and watching shows and sometimes using it as a third monitor for my pc. One thing that I really like about this tablet that the other version offer as well is the Samsung Dex. Basically turning it from an android tablet into a desktop with taskbar and icons. After discovering this, I mainly use my tablet in this mode. You can also get cases that come with a keyboard and trackpad for full functionality of the Dex mode.
