Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I’ve been using Samsung SSDs for a while now and got a little too cramped with my 250gb and 500gb so it was finally time for me to get the 1tb since it wasn’t ridiculously expensive anymore. Using it as a game drive in my pc and it’s been great. No issues.

finally ssd becoming way more affordable than a few years ago, speedy near the limits of SATA III and rated as one of the best you can afford, Samsung 860 EVO outdone its competitors. With its tough TBW and 5 years warranty, it can endure massive writes with precision and speed. would buy again if it gets even cheaper.

I wanted to upgrade my laptop with a fast and reliable hard drive. The ssd is the best route to go for fast read/write speeds.

I must have installed well over a couple dozen of these in peoples laptops, mostly Macbooks 2010-2012. If you really want to make a difference in your laptop install one of these and its like night and day vs. the older mechanical hard drives. You can do either a Time Machine backup or Windows backup but if you want the best bang for your buck, back up all your files and do a clean install of either the OSX or Windows and its like night and day for performance. Performance above all else, DRAMATICALLY REDUCES all load and install times (internet connection may vary for the install times). Will be useful when the PS5, Xbox Scarlett arrives.

Ive had no issues with this SSD. It works great.

Install was really quick, plug and play, and sleek looking. Only comes with the drive, so you need to source a SATA cable yourself. Luckily I have a ton of them so not an issue. Extremely fast drive with a ton of storage space when you play games that are 100GB in size for literally no reason. Looking at you siege and COD. Load times are instantaneous and not even noticeable. Read and write are mad fast, but of course not comparable to NVME. But if you dont have a m.2 slot or an extra pcie slot, than this is for you. Might be expensive, but for what you get and from the brand its a reliable 1TB of SSD goodness that is highly recommended. No more do you need a 240GB-512Gb SSD just for boot and a few games and having your 2 massive slow 7200 RPM drives for main storage. You can do both all in one and have all the benefits of the fast loading on the games that arent as important.

Great Drive. Very fast and easy to clone. Did not come with USB 3.0 to SATA III 2.5 Hard Drive Adapter. You can purchase J&D USB 3.0 to SATA III 2.5 Hard Drive Adapter, which supports UASP SATA I II III for 2.5 inch HDD and SSD for < $10.
