> 3 dayI wanted a small solid state drive to use as a dependable backup on my Mac. This does a great job and I have the confidence that it will last longer than a traditional disk drive.

Greater than one weekI use this drive mainly for editing 4K videos on FCP. It works wonderfully. Theres no better option for size and price point for the 1TB. Its consistently recommended in FB video groups. Im sure itll be great for gaming as well.

> 3 dayI picked up this drive for large media file storage. The drive is made out of an aluminum case thats very sturdy and light; I would not have any worries about dropping this from 5 feet. It came with both USB-C and USB-A cables - which is nice. I was not able to get sustained write speeds of 1050MB/s; average write speeds were about 450MB/s when connected directly to my USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. However, on the initial 1GB of a 15GB file transfer, I did see speeds in the 1GB/s range - but it did not last long and averaged out at around 450MB/s. Another note: when the drive is connected to a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) dock/hub, I saw enormous degradation of speeds (~40MB/s average!) with this drive and another NVMe USB drive from Sandisk. I replicated the issue on two different workstations that both support USB 3.2 Gen 2. I am unsure if it is the USB hub or if these drives just dont like USB hubs/docks, but I suspect the later. Bottom line: dont expect 450MB/s speeds when connected to a USB hub, even if its USB 3.2 Gen 2. Youre going to want to connect directly to your USB port on your laptop or workstation with this drive, otherwise youll be waiting an eternity to transfer a large file.

> 3 dayThis SSD has been working flawlessly for about a year, but its been failing on me more and more for a while now, and my computer cannot recognize it anymore. Ive always taken proper care of it and most of the time its only sitting on my desk anyway. Id be careful if I were you...
