> 3 dayIm a huge fan of these SSDs. They are very compact, dont overheat during large data transfers, look great, and have terrific read/write speeds. I edit video directly off of these harddrives and use them for storing project files. I cant recommend Samsung external SSDs enough.

> 3 dayThis is an impressive little device. I am impressed with the look, and the apparent durability of the drive. In classic Samsung style, the drive is a good looking accessory especially for my Dell Precision 5530. I believe the drive will be very durable it is made of what feels like aluminum and is sealed on the ends. I would not hesitate to put this in my pocket for quick and easy transport.

> 3 dayRecorded in all modes on camera and this SSD recorded without issue. It’s smaller than I thought. Slippery almost. Pretty remarkable. Comes with a short USB cable. True to color.

> 3 dayMy 2015 iMac had a spinning disk, and has gotten progressively slower over the years, to the point where it was almost unusable. I considered upgrading, but with the rumors of the new Apple Silicon Macs around the corner, I wanted to see if I could wait it out. I tried various software related things to speed it up, but it was still too slow, and all signs pointed to the disk IO as the culprit. I read about the process to replacing the internal HD in an iMac, but it seemed like a lot of work, and found I could get almost the same improvement with booting the iMac from an external SSD. So I got this drive, used Carbon Copy Cloner to duplicate my internal drive to this T5 drive, then set the Mac to boot by default from the T5. It was unbelievable how much better things were. I could use Photos again! Booting the machine up took a fraction of the time. Everything is much smoother now and weve started using the iMac again. It has a fantastic 27 4K display, so Im thinking we can get a few more years out of it, and then will upgrade to an M1 iMac when they are available in a new design (the iMac design is getting a bit dated). The drive is really an awesome upgrade. I cant speak too much on the longevity, since Ive only been running it a few months, but it has been rock solid over that time.

> 3 dayI bought this for my BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K on July 19. I would love to return it for a replacement, but the return window closed before I received it on July 21. Hows that for Amazon service? It just quit working (how does that happen? Its an SSD!), and all that shows up on my computer is the boot partition, so now I have a $130 ssd with 44MB (Megabytes!) of memory. Im not very happy right now.
