I cannot believe you can get such a perfect drive with so much memory packed into such a tiny package that works so well for such a low price. Sorry for the run-on sentence, but this little hard drive blows me away. Using it with a Macbook Pro. For Apple users only: when you get it, get rid of the pre-loaded software. This is very easy to do even if you are a complete novice. Go to Disk Utility and Erase. Name it whatever you want. Format as Mac OS Extended (Journaled), Scheme GUID Partition Map. Thats it! You now have the most versatile solid-state portable external drive out there. One note: it does get quite warm if you transfer a lot of data over extended periods, but that hasnt affected its performance for me in the slightest. Lightning fast, even with USB 2.0.

une bete ce petit disque dur! compact et super efficace , rapidité extrême, rien a faire, vous branchez et vous transférez ! vitesse de ouf! vraiment, ils ne mentent pas, jai un macbook de 2012 et vitesse de transfert avec ce disque dur ssd externe est de 400 Mo par seconde un fichier de 8 giga en moins dune minute alors quavec une clé usb stander cst au moins 6 min

Ive been a sandisk fan for many years buying many terabytes of memory in many forms. I started with them in photography and came to rely on their quality over other brands. I didnt mind paying a premium, because protecting my data and files was far more important.

This product is great for backing up data quickly from a PC or laptop with the fast SSD and durable case its perfect for carrying around too!

Small and light. Performance ok for photos with Lightroom.
