> 3 dayEasy to install. Used a recent back up image for operating system rather than cloning software. The results are amazing. This ssd was installed in Hp mini network running win 10, primelory used to run my train sets. Start up time is signifantly faster. Operating speed is also faster. Instead of running slow, now runs satisfactionatly good. Also installed 2 gig of memory to help things along a bit more. Note: with ssd drive there is no need to configure flash drives for ready boost. (In fact, that option is not available now as as ssd drives can handles temporary swap files faster).

> 3 dayI purchased three of these to upgrade two Dell Laptops and a Dell desktop. The drive do not come with any cloning software. The small enclosed card does lead you to the Sandisk/Western Digital website. Poking around leads you to installation instructions and an example of using EZ GIG IV cloning software. I tried to use it on all three system upgrades. Each time it would not properly recognize the SanDisk SSD connected via a generic SATA to USB cable. The cloning software would display the SSD as a destination drive, you can select it but when you try to start the cloning you get an error saying the drive isnt connected. For my Dell desktop I ended up using the Acronis cloning software available from Western Digital for free. I hooked the SSD up to an unused SATA cable inside the desktop to do the cloning. When done just remove the old hard drive and install the new SSD in place of the old hard drive and reboot.

> 3 dayVolevo prendere un SSD per svecchiare un Sony vaio con core i3 del 2009 la cui lentezza nel avviarsi era diventata a dir poco imbarazzante.......finalmente la musica è cambiata! Certamente non può diventare un fulmine come i portatili di ultima generazione visto anche lhardware datato...... ma i tempi di avvio, spegnimento e caricamento programmi sono migliorati tantissimo! Ora finalmente se devo fare una stampa di un documento non devo aspettare 15 minuti che si carichi il sistema operativo!
