This monitor is very bright and has amazing picture quality. The refresh rate is nice, and there is limited blur, when playing motion games. This monitor is worth giving a chance. It ships in a well packaged box that is very secure.

FUNCTIONALITY: 5* + The picture quality is really good. + It has 1080p with a 75Hz refresh rate which makes the picture awesome. + There was no screen interruption when watching movies or using it for work. + The screen is pretty bright. Bezels are much wider than depicted. More like 6mm on top and sides. Very disappointing.

The SANSUI Monitor 22 1080p Monitor (ES-22F1) is epitome of a basic monitor, and with a price of $80 (with $30 off coupon, at the time of this review), thats exactly how its positioned relative to the competition. With a 22 panel, it would be easy to think of the Sansui like a monitor from 2010. Really, thats not a bad comparison, as the build quality, panel size, and OSD seem about right for the time. Exceeding expectations, though, would be that the panel is IPS (with decent viewing angles, as youd expect), the bezel is pretty small, and you have an LED (rather than CCFL) backlight. Peak brightness and backlight uniformity/leakage as not great, as youd expect at this price point. Overall, the Sansui is fine for use as an occasional use monitor. Its also decent as a retro-capable monitor, as its equipped with an analog VGA input. I tried a few old VGAs with the monitor (Oak, Trident, and Matrox) and the A2D circuit coped surprisingly well. Recommended
