Was debating between this Firecuda 530, the WD Black SN850X, and the Sabrent Rocket 4 plus. To be honest any one of them would have been great for my PS5, and choosing the cheapest of the 3 is an easy factor. However what I wanted the most was durability and endurance, and the Firecuda offers exactly that alongside its good read/write speeds. Typically speeds drop roughly 10% to 15% from the brand spec speeds, which is normal. My PS5 ran at a good 6600 once I installed and formatted it.

Before installing my new SSD, I transferred all my console storage games to my 8TB external first. After installing my new SSD, as we speak, I am now transferring my PS5 games from my external now to my new SSD. After this is done, I will transfer all my PS4 games to my console storage! Happy camper here!! Thank you for the best price possible when it was $500+ (brand new) and was supposed to be delivered to me around January-ish, but just arrived today, 12.12.2022. Now, the price for this on Amazon is $700+. Talk about, timing!! So happy!! Thank you very much!! :)

Natürlich etwas teurer, aber kann dafür mit Leistung Punkten. Vor allem auch für die Chiaminer aufgrund der höheren TBW interessant. Die Geschwindigkeit ist top!

I do Chia plot on this, 6 plots job will slow down the finish time on 2tb version. better to get 1tb and raid 0 on it to achieve better speed.

Day I received it, installed and tested performance. My intel M.2 out performs this at 2000> read and write while the FireCuda writes faster at just above 2000. For the price you would think quality control would be better. Build: i7-11700k, Asus z590-E, Asus Strix 3080, Gskill 64G of ram. Will be returning, not wasting my money on something that doesnt even come close to the promised 7300 read/write parameters. I wonder if the overtly positive reviews come from those who didnt test the speed and was faster than what they experienced before. Recommendation: Test it, or just throw away your money away.
