My ps4 crapped out said something about the hard drive bought this still had problems BUT if you take it apart there is an actual hard deive inside you canbuse to just put inside the ps4

These hard drives are not good I have bought two of them and the same thing keeps happening thankfully I have a warranty on the second one

Works great with my ps5. Great for storing ps4 games so your memory on your ps5 doesn’t get taken up by ps4 games. Games load up just as fast as ps5 games do. Great purchase.

Works for my xbox too

I use this with Xbox series X , I dont think it works for Playstation. The content transfers are quick, and some games play straight from device, depending on file size. This item was on sale and the cool star wars esthetics are a nice touch. As the new games these days need a lot more space for storage I thought an extra 2 tb for $100.oo was a great deal especially with the art and an RGB light. The light color is changeable only on pc so if you want a certain color it reflects what character as well. I wanted a green light but could not find one so I chose the light blue Luke Skywalker. But almost went with Boba Fett, but he had a red light. The red light doesnt match the Xbox green.

Very happy. Now I can load more games and my PS4 runs faster.

This hard drive seems to work great. I have not had any problems with it.

Had nothing but issues with this product from day one. It was easy to install and easy to use, but that is more due to Playstations setup than Seagate. Have issues with the external drive disconnecting itself randomly from the PS4. Would put the PS4 into sleep mode, with all the correct settings enabled to provide continuous power to USB devices while in sleep mode, I wake up the PS4 and it says the drive was not shut down correctly and has to be repaired, as though I unplugged it with out powering down first (which I would never do intentionally). It did that each time I brought the PS4 out of sleep mode. I never once incorrectly shut anything down. Each time that I would be playing games that were installed on my internal HD, a message would pop up saying that my external HD is no longer available. It would disconnect itself, almost like it was going to sleep itself.
