Honestly would have liked a 2TB version. Still an additional 1TB of storage is great for my Xbox Series X.

Is it expensive for storage? Yes.

So from the pic I assumed it was laptop HD sized, but its basically the size of the Wii Memory Card. Needless to say its super portable, which Id assume maybe a younger player would find useful? It also comes with a dust cover for when its not installed. All in all super happy. I transferred 400GB of games to it and tried 2 of the games and and it felt seamless.

The proprietary memory expansion card for Xbox Series X and S works as well and is as fast as the internal memory provided within the console. I pulled the trigger on this item after getting close to the capacity of my Series S and tiring of transferring between internal memory and external HDD. Found for $207 plus tax and fee shipping so I caught it. Works great except my or the initial notice that the expansion was recognized but a more secure connection is needed and to reinsert the memory. Worked fine after taking out and reinserting with power turned on. I’ve seen reports this can happen if you insert it when the console is turned off.

The product arrived on time, in good condition and works properly.

For people who enjoy complex Xbox games with lots of extra content, no matter which Xbox you buy it wont have enough storage space built in, thus the market for these expansion cards. Games which were bought for the xbox One and back-compatible games from Xbox 360 can be stored and run from external hard drives, but games designed for these new series of Xbox consoles cant run from them. Using some proprietary technology, Microsoft has managed to make these expansion cartridges an integral part of the Xbox so users never have to know where any games are stored -- theyll always work great.
