> 3 dayI have never wrote a review before but I felt the need to write one for this book. If I could put no stars then I would, because thats how dissatisfied I was with this book. This book actually had the makings to be a wonderful book if the author would stop rambling on and on and on before she gets to the point. It takes so long for the action to begin because the characters are talking to themselves for as much as three pages. I love long books but dont ramble to make the book longer. Get to the point

> 3 dayFirst time reading anything by this author. It has a good storyline, I just needed for the characters to be a little more developed. It has an easy plot to follow, although it does need a little fine tuning. Also there are a few minor editing mistakes which interrupts the flow of the story by having to stop reading and quickly decipher what it is the author is conveying. Otherwise it is a good read. Thank you for sharing your story Ms. Dowdell.

> 3 dayThis book couldve been so good but it was rushed in the beginning and dragged in the middle. It was so dragged out and long that i had to skip lots of pages. Many of us readers arent hispanic so didnt get the language written, although sometimes the author translated.

> 3 dayThis drama series will have you holding your breath while asking yourself what the what? I actually saw Shani Greene-Dowdell stage play first hand so I knew this book was going to be all of that and more. I cant wait to see what this talented author comes up with next! I gave this book 5 stars easily and would have given it more if possible...

> 3 dayWell, the old saying is coming in blaring bold letters (KEEP YOUR ENEMIES CLOSE AND YOUR FRIENDS CLOSER) because they just might stab you unexpectantly. Shayla has just endured the HELL that her husband and so-called best friend placed at her doorstep. Jealousy is an ugly color on anyone but especially the ones that you hold near and dear to your heart. Read this eye opener and beware.

> 3 dayI enjoyed this book, it had me wondering whats going to happen on every page. The chacters was touching and I thought I knew them, the title is not what I thought the story was about. Once you read you is going to want to know more about Shayla and the Hispanic guy, Rhonda her evil self and Titus a man that dont know who is want. And Gladys a woman in her own world with sexy Maverick. A must read you will not forget it.
