They started shorting out before I could even use them for a recording class (which recommended them). Since I needed them in a hurry, returning wasnt an option. It was a struggle as they would cut in and out unless I held them just right. [EDIT: I eventually just pulled out the connectors and put them back in when this happened every now and then. In 2022 I had to replace the cord because the wire broke after years of bending. The earphones have worked fine over the years since I bought them and I would buy them again (unless I find something better)

I like to use headphones for hours at a time. These are not the ones for that... unless your okay with some TMJ. My jaw and ears became sore after a few long hours mixing songs. These are great for walking around town and bumping tunes. I love the sound of em and they do look cool. The stabilizing additional headpiece allows you to headband all you want. Sennheiser makes lots of great cans so I picked up another more comfortable model for mixing.

Bought these to replace another older pair of Sennheiser cans. Smaller, lighter, and have that Sennheiser sound. I use these in a radio studio for several hours a day, every day. I can barely even tell I am wearing them. Good headphones are not cheap, and cheap headphones are not usually good. Worth the money any day.

These headsets are just great, ready for you to take them wherever you go. Excellent for noisy places and for booths with no noise cancellation. Great audio quality

These are perfect for all types of music. I mostly listen to ska punk, rock, and metal and I am absolutely blown away by how much of my favorite tracks my pair of Beats earbuds was hiding from me. The bass is just right without being exaggerated and the treble is so spectacularly clear. I only have two complaints: opening the headband seems to damage/pinch the wires that lead to the actual headphones, and within a week I experienced some times when my music would stop because my phone registered the device as having been removed when it hadnt. The second is possibly due to wear and tear (I was rather unkind to the wire during my first few days of use), but the first is definitely a manufacturing issue. I worry that over time Ill need to replace this wire. Overall, definitely recommend.

These, sound wise, are on par with the Momentum 2s or the HD599s or the AKG K451s. If youre familiar with those and like the sound signature, youll get more of the same with the HD25s. I found the clamping a bit much out of the box but gently stretching the headband reduces the clamping. I like the adjustable split headband. I like that nearly every part is replaceable. Im not wild about the stock ear pads and plan to replace those soon with something plusher. That said, I wouldnt hesitate to buy this model again and certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys great portable sound. Ive played it through my headphone amp, my receiver, my television, and my telephone. It performs well on all. This model really excels with flacs, compact discs, or hi rez streaming. The sound is energetic yet balanced and easily heard in loud environments like public transport or airplanes. The soundstage is virtually non-existent but I barely noticed because the sound is so wonderfully tuned. The HD 25 handles all genres well. Ive been able to wear these headphones for a few hours at a time. YMMV.

These headphones are extremely good and durable, theyve been my favorite companion to almost everywhere I go for 2 years. Soundwise, they are great for the value, mostly flat and detailed sound just a liiitle bit V shaped response. Totally recommend these as entry hifi and very durable headphones.

Nice headphones to be sure - but I take issue with calling them DJ headphones. They dont have the swivel ear and are kind of small/unwieldy (if that combination makes sense) for mixing. The build and sound quality is great, so I definitely recommend them in general, I would just go with something else for actual DJing.

currently I own HD25 2 sets, HD668b, Ath pro7x, DT1350, Koss PP, Ksc75, Oneodio studio, Status audio, JVC harx700, srh440, HD558, Koss Dj200 pro, JVC HA-S500, JVC HA-S400, HTF600, AKG240, but HD25 beats them all in sound quality department. Compare to M40x and m50 the bass is very tight, imaging is excellent for the cost of sound stage but treble and clarity is just excellent with good PRAT factor. It is not a very V shaped headphones, and a little bit mid bass hump makes is very fun to listen too. on the ear design makes the seal very tight to achieve good sound. construction is great. I bought 2 pairs last year and both look brand new till now. Its very hard to find another on-ear headphones to upgrade from this headphones, HD25 is just too perfect, but Oneodio studio over the ear offers almost same sound with the expense of maybe 15% sound clarity and it is just below $25. both HD25 and Oneodio pair very well with my Sansa Fuze plus and clip jam very well. They dont need extra power to drive them. for people with lower budget the Oneodio studio less than $25 is a better option.

I’ve been a DJ for 40 years and always knew of these but never got a pair or even tried them. I was super late to this party (lol) but they definitely are what everyone says they are. AMAZING
