Greater than one weekI have produced and recorded music for some time and had been searching for those headphones that could be described as: Perfect sounding headphones and these Sennheiser HD 280 pro are the closest thing (under 100 bucks) to that.

> 3 dayThese headphones were great for a while. I had received them as a Christmas gift in 2018, but it seems now that the sound is only playing from one ear. I had made sure to keep them away from anything that could pull on the cord or damage the headset itself, but when I woke up they had stopped working properly. I will try to reach out to their customer service for having this headset fail in less than a year, but until this gets resolved I can only give it 3 stars. 5 stars for sound quality and a 2 for life time. Updates coming

> 3 dayI love my new headphones! They sound excellent. Light weight and adjustable. They are a bit tight at first but then you get used to it. You can wear them for hours.

> 3 dayIf you are an actual musician or sound engineer you need some affordable headphones with sonic accuracy and a relatively flat EQ response. Nothing at this price point competes with the HD 280 Pros. I use them in my project studio, I use them on stage, I take them to every session (except for the big studios which give me Beyerdynamics, very good but also very pricey $$$). I dont like consumer grade audio, and I dont need headphones that look like they came with Barbies dreamhouse, I stick with these and I have heard them all.

> 3 dayThis set of headphones has great sound quality, however, its only marginally better on paper than its Sony counterpart. Because it has problems with a very brittle headband, and will very quickly crack and break away entirely into sharp pieces of hard plastic, I cannot recommend these headphones except for review for product safety. Every time I have to send away my pair to get repaired I have to pay for shipping to Sennheiser, and I am without the headphones for weeks as a result. Save yourself a headache and possibly further physical injury and consider getting the Sony headphones...

> 3 dayOne of the reasons that I bought these was for listening to football play-by-play over AM radio inside CenturyLink Field. It is a mindbogglingly loud environment (it holds the world record for loudest stadium) and noise isolation was a prime concern. I tried several kinds of earbuds thinking they would be the best option for noise isolation yet was struggling to hear even with my radio volume on max. With these headphones I can hear perfectly with plenty of volume to spare.
