Bought this for my daughter and it is amazingly sharp. Purchased of the fast 1.4 for shooting indoor concerts. It is well built with good balance with the A6000 Sony.

Really sharp lens, nice micro contrast. Build quality is good. Not a fan of the electronic focus ring. Struggles a bit to focus in dimmer situations. Anyone with an aps-c camera that still uses the kit lens should probably upgrade to this as a first lens as the value is incredible and your photos will look a whole lot better!

There is huge dust particle that looks more like damaged glass inside of the lens (sensor side). Exactly the same damage on two lenses I ordered. Both lenses had dust particles inside of the lens on the other side too. First one was ordered through Ado*ama. Terrible service. Took them eight days to respond to my email. So, I had to pay return label. Amazon sends labels automatically while they initiate shipping of the replacement right away.

Fantastic! Especially for the price point. It’s my new go to for both personal and professional projects.
