This bag is awesome. I have used it on 2 trips and it has been a game-changing personal item bag. I got the cream colored one and it has a scuff or two but is overall looking really great for being shoved under a plane seat half a dozen times. I love the compression straps on the sides. Comfy to wear on your shoulders but also has a strap on the back to go over the handle of your roller bag if you prefer. I do wish it had a small top or side zip pocket for my ID/airpods/phone. The only small exterior pocket is the one on the bottom front which is impossible to access without taking off the bad or dragging it out from under the seat infront of you. Side mesh pocket did not fit my large nalgene bottle but a regular size bottle would easily fit.

I love this backpack because its like a soft shell suitcase under the guise of a backpack. Backpacks qualify as a personal item and since I always fly those cheap airlines that nickel and dime you for carry-ons, this is the perfect way to bring what I need for free. The backpack opens all the way around 3 sides like a suitcase would. It even has a handle like a suitcase does, but it also has backpack straps which you can use or hide away in the zippered compartment in the back. There are several different compartments on this backpack to keep things separated and it also comes with some little clear plastic travel bags for toiletries and such.

This is a well-built backpack with a lot of smart features. It can expand to hold a lot of cargo as needed, or it can be cinched down to a lower profile when its less full. The backpack has several full-height zippered layers to keep things separated, plus another layer where the shoulder straps can be tucked away to convert the backpack into something more like luggage or a briefcase. Unfortunately, this part cant be zipped closed while the shoulder straps are in use, so I would not want to wear it in heavy rain without an umbrella. The largest compartment can be fully opened like a book for airport snoops or just easier packing. This compartment also has a few pockets for smaller items. There are several more slots of a size appropriate for tablets or mini-laptops. One of the full-height layers has a lot of extra padding to protect a large gaming laptop or mobile workstation. The backpack also comes with a couple of transparent plastic toiletry pouches. The plastic and zippers are nowhere near the quality of the backpack, although I guess they serve their purpose for faster security inspections. I would rate these pouches two or three stars on their own, but I cant bring myself to deduct a star from the whole package because the backpack itself is so nice.

This backpack is perfect for overnight stays of weekend trips. It extends to around double the size and has a variety of compartments to keep everything organized and easily accessible. It also includes two clear toiletry bags. The material is soft, comfortable to wear and easy to wipe clean. I love the ivory. This is a great bag as a carryon or personal item, depending on how much stuff you pack in it. There are two reinforcement clips on each side of the bag for after you zip it up. I love that it fully zips open like a luggage bag. Adding a video soon!

I have some big trips coming up and I believe this bag will serve me well. It’s a good size, appearing to be large enough for a weekend’s worth of stuff but small enough to fit under the airplane seat. It has lots of pockets and seems to be solidly constructed. If I had one nit to pick, it’s regarding the front pocket design. Assuming you pack the main bag portion full of clothes and things, you’ll need to utilize the two front facing pockets for most of your easy-to-access items while en route to your destination. The rest of the bag’s pockets are somewhat closed off, at least without unsnapping the side support/cinch straps. However, the two forward facing pockets are just slits, not allowing for the flap to open up more to see all inside. Also, inside the pocket could use some smaller organizers for items like pens, passports, etc, but it’s just one compartment for each of the zippers. This isn’t enough to knock down my score, but it provides room for improvement if the bag is ever redesigned.

I absolutely love this bag! The quality of the material feels pretty good, and I love all of the pockets it has. I also really like the compression capability which will come in handy for plane rides that have smaller than ideal overhead bins. What I dont like about the bag is that it only has one internal zippered pocket. So, while ideal for travel, its not great for school/work use. My previous bag has a few internal zippered pockets for documents or other small items, but this bag is missing that feature. It was supposed to come with two of the clear zippered pouches, but I only received one, so I took off a star.

Large capacity, lots of storage, sturdy, durable, with two small plastic tote pouches. Would be great for travel, school, work, gym, etc. would make a great gift as well. Overall rating, “A”.

Awesome! Used it for traveling across trains, planes and cars in Europe for 2.5 weeks. I love that it opens fully like a suitcase and it has straps to compress the whole bag. I got the beige color and while there’s a few stains, my fault, it lasted very very for my trip. Will definitely be using for other trips.
