Greater than one weekThe MSI GL62M series of notebooks offers a dual M2 slot SATA/PCI-e. Using the PCI-e option as a boot drive requires some effort; but, the problem is not in the SK hynix. It has to do with the bios and configuration of of the computer.

> 3 dayThe internal SSD was installed in a Dell Inspiron because I needed additional disk space, to my surprise it felt like I had a new laptop. After installation, my machine was much faster than with the magnetic hard disk. Boot time was reduced by at least 50%.

> 3 dayOne thing to note is that the reported speed of this devise is not accurate. The best I have been able to get is around 1600 MB/S. Granted, this is still many times faster than a traditional platter drive, or even a standard SSD drive, but I say that if speed is important to you, spend a little more and get a Samsung EVO.

> 3 dayThis is one of the best PCIE gen3 drives on the market. There are a few better ones from Intel, and 1 better option from Samsung (970 Pro)... but both those drives are more than 2x the cost.
