> 24 hourI already have about twenty smart wifi plugs (and a couple of smart power strips) in my home and needed a couple more plugs. (I keep finding new uses for them.) I bought these because the price was good and the description said: The smart plug is designed for standard US outlets. Easily fit two mini plugs in one socket. This claim turned out to be untrue, so I returned them and ordered a different brand that I already owned and that I knew would fit two to an outlet. Because this feature was important to me, I immediately checked to see if two of these plugs would fit in the same outlet before I tried configuring them, so I cant say anything specific about how easy they are to set up and actually use. However, Ive purchased a variety of smart plugs brands, and Ive never had a problem with any of them. All of the individual smart plugs that I own work with the Smart Life app and have similar functionality. (I believe that the manufacturers are all using the same chips.) Smart plugs have only a few distinguishing features, such as size, amperage, appearance, and whether they have extra features such as USB ports. These plugs are rated for 10 amps and can be used for lamps and devices that dont draw much power. If you plan to use a smart plug with electric heater, air conditioner, and or other power-hungry device, look for one that is rated for 15 or 16 amps. As long as you buy your smart plugs from a vendor that allows easy returns (such as Amazon, as opposed to eBay) and test them right away, theres not much risk of losing your money. When people do have difficulty setting smart plugs up, its usually because they dont understand that the devices need to be on a 2.44 GHz wifi band and that you have to connect your phone to this band while configuring. Once youve configured one smart plug, its pretty easy to configure other plugs, even if theyre different brands. Of course, the documentation on this plugs is often lacking, but there are lots of videos on YouTube that explain the process. I gave these plugs three stars (average) because the description is clearly wrong, but they probably would have worked fine. If youre looking for inexpensive smart plugs and dont care whether the plug blocks the other receptacle in the outlet, these could be a great buy (but shop around because prices on smart plugs are dropping rapidly). For me, it was worth paying a little more to have the flexibility to use two plugs per outlet. (Afterthought -- it might be possible to use one of these plugs and a 2-prong lamp plug in the same outlet. I didnt try that. However, the product description says that you can use two miniplugs in the same outlet, which is what I needed and which is unfortunately not the case.)

> 24 hourWell these are worthless. Suddenly just turns off all the outlets. Even if I unplug everything it will randomly turn everything off. Waste of money and less than a year old.
