16-12-2024I initially wasn’t sure I was going to keep these as they were bigger than I expected. The lamp I wanted to use it on is in the living room, plugged into a standard outlet & not a GFCI, so the outlets are a bit closer together & it wouldn’t fit since I have something else plugged in. I happened to decide to try it plugged into a power strip. After that, setup was super easy, although I didn’t fully appreciate it at first. My Philips Hue app found it right away & I was able to easily add it to Alexa after that. I was going to try zigbee power strips by a different brand for my bedroom setup. I couldn’t even get those to connect & tried my spare plug from this brand on my bedside table lamp & what I had spent over an hour on was done within 5 minutes, so I ordered 2 more. Worst case scenario, I stick a couple of regular power strips under each side of the bed & use these smart outlets in those for the lamps, especially for the price, considering I spent over $80 on those 2 power strips & these are 2 for $23. The only reason I took a star off is due to the size, causing the need for power strips if you need all of your outlets.

Greater than one weekAugust 2022 updates. They have started to fail. They turn the device on and off and back in in succession then turn off with a dull red light. Cant get them to reset. I have my smart home controlled through SmartThings, and these setup quickly and easily. Once added there, Alexa picked up the new devices very quickly.

16-12-2024Both units died after 9 months. 1 unit makes clicking sound and button flashes red. 1 unit button flashes blue when plugged in, but inoperable.

> 3 dayThis product works well from my Samsung SmartThings controller. It was easy to setup and discover. The only problem I have is overall design, which is round in shape. The round shape is blocking the ability to use the second plug because its so big. You will need to use it alone on an outlet, or have a small extension cable to allow multiple to be plugged in.

> 3 dayThese were SUPER easy to add to my SmartThings hub. I liked that I could still fit a plug into the other outlet. It was also nice that it had some thickness to it, so the bug plug I had wouldnt interfere with the plug in the lower outlet. Im using these on a couple of the lamps in my office, and then I have an automation to turn on these plugs/lamps whenever my motion sensor senses motion. Then turns them off 15 min after theres no motion detected. Ive very pleased with these plugs or the price.

> 3 dayThe round shape means that my other device I had plugged in did not fit in the same socket. Other than that, these work great and it is really convenient that they also have a specific power button on the side so it can be manually controlled or controlled through my HomeAssistant instance.

> 3 dayI really liked it because of its small size, price, easy connectivity, and it provided me the extended range I needed but unfortunately one of them died within 6 months. I didnt power any device with it, it was used only to extend my Zigbee range.

Greater than one weekI was adding some lights to my smart home and tried these smart plugs. They are great. They paired quickly with Smartthings. Then I wanted to add more lights, so I ordered a second set of the plugs. Very happy with them.
