I have been curious about this type of reusable water balloon for a while. My kids love water balloons, but the regular kind take forever to fill up and tie, and then they break in an instant and I have tiny pieces of balloon all over my yard, and my kids are begging me to fill up more. These balloons came in a set of 8, 2 each of 4 colors: pink, orange, blue, and green. It also came with a mesh bag to store them in, which is nice The material is thin but strong, I dont think it would puncture or tear easily. There are 8 magnets on each side of the center seal that actually create a water and air tight seal when you close the two halves. These reusable water balloons solve basically all of these problems. As the package states, they do fill in about one second. I filled a tub with water, dunked the open balloon under water, closed it up while still under water, then lifted it out. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the magnetic closures really did seal the water inside. When I shook it no water came out. My 8 year old was able to fill it without any help as well. When we threw them, the seal burst open on impact and the water came out with a satisfying splat, much like a regular water balloon. But with these, you can just grab the opened balloon, dunk it back in the tub of water, and use it again immediately. No garbage left in the yard, no running out of balloons too quickly, no adult intervention needed for kids to keep playing with them again and again. I can already tell that these will be a hit in my family and save me a lot of effort in their water balloon fun!

I had seen these around for a while and never thought theyd be worth getting. I was worried theyd be too hard, that the magnets wouldnt hold, that theyd break or leak super easily, etc... Pleased to report that I was wrong. After playing with some brought to an event by some friends, I went out and got my own. For myself and my kids. The refill is easy in a bucket or cooler. Theyre a little less forgiving than a regular water balloon, but unless youre an adult intentionally throwing fastballs at little kids, its going to be fine. They do come apart during acceleration if you throw them too hard, so thats actually a bit of a safety mechanism. So far I havent had any straight-up break, but Im sure its only a matter of time before my kids rip one apart at the hinge. But for the super easy refill and zero balloon waste, these are well worth the price.

We havent tried these as its winter here, but they look fun. They are for a childs Easter basket.

I have ordered several packages of these silicone water balloons from Amazon. I havent been able to find any difference between them except the color. Some of the packages have a mesh bag to hold the balloons. Thats a nice feature. They fill well in a bucket of water and then the magnets snap the two sides shut and its ready to throw. Im delighted that we wont have to clean up broken balloons after the water balloon fight. I recommend these and all the silicone balloons. Decide which colors you want to order, whether you want the mesh storage bag or not, and definitely compare prices. They are all great.

Will try these out more in the summer once we have our pool up, but they seem to break open fine, but the magnets do see a little too strong and you might have to throw them harder, which could hurt someone.

Super fun idea! The kids ended up loosing most of them but overall it was great it’s really seals the water in! And burst on impact! Wouldn’t use for smaller kids just because you have to kinda throw hard for them to burst! It’s is a very soft material and doesn’t hurt! I just wouldn’t recommend kids under 4

My kids absolutely love these. They are so much fun. Good quality and the magnets don’t fall off like others we’ve tried.

These arrived during a birthday party for a 3 year old on a 90 degree day and we an immediate hit! They held up to the water activities and it was great to not have to pick pieces of balloon out of the lawn for days- I ordered more!

These are so fun! 12 qty is a great size! We’ve had them in the pool for two days solid now! We shipped them to the vacation condo so they were there waiting for us and we can even bring them home i our luggage! Great purchase!

My boys love these! They just came inside from a 2 hour water fight and these were a hit. Prior to this, they had played with them inside with no water and we did have an issue with one of them losing the magnets. I didnt notice that problem when we were using them as intended, but it is something you want to be aware of as it would not be good if those tiny magnets got into little hands. Overall, I recommend these and plan on getting more before a family reunion this summer!
