I absolutely love my Elite controller, but over the last month or so, the right bumper was becoming less and less responsive. I looked up several videos, did the hack where you open the controller up and add some paper to the top of the button to give it more travel, but that only helped for so long. Finally, I decided to go for broke and try repairing the button itself. I am a novice soldering iron user, but I was still able to pull it off thanks to the helpful video associated with this kit. My controller has never been better and the buttons feel like they will stand up to much more use now. And, if not, I have 8 more buttons to fix it with. Thank you!
