> 3 dayThese carving tips are by far the sharpest out of the less-expensive interchangeable tips I’ve tried. Definitely worth the money unlike some other brands.

Greater than one weekIt’s so low quality that it can’t grip its own blades or gets indefinitely stuck. I bought once and it fell apart in the first use. Bought another an it fell apart in the first use. The price is tempting but you will pay more in the long run. Not usable for even practice because it becomes unusable so quickly

> 3 dayA solid four. The handle is a little more cheaply made than it used to be but still quality and same feel it used to have.

> 3 dayI had to take the whole thing apart and put it together again before I could get the blades to stay in. One blade is not cutting at all no matter what I do. Its so dull, it is shredding rather than cutting and its the detail carver so now I cant get into the tiny places on my block at all. Speedball comes with a name and the brand is (or was) always a good purchase. Im afraid I only have one blade that works well and that just doesnt cut it (pun intended).

> 3 dayI love the design and how comfortable feels when using it. At the beginning might be a bit tricky to get the blade in place properly, but the system is pretty straight forward once you get the trick. However, after a few months the blades have gone unsharpened and I dont really know how to make them sharpen again. Is there an instructions manual or replacements?

> 3 dayI used this in college in my printmaking class. They are a great beginner tool and can do a lot. I have re-purchased this multiple times... I keep loosing them. I also have bought a few as gifts for friends to try out printmaking.

> 3 dayThe handle is fine but all of the blades have quality issues. The ones I received all had burrs on the cutting edge. One of them had a crooked cutting edge too. They didnt used to be this bad back in the day. Step it up Speedball!

Greater than one weekGreat for beginners to learn how the different tools work on different textures. Very compact, which is nice. The pieces on the tip of the cutter, where the blades and the steel meet can sometimes get jammed, which is annoying but very fixable.

Greater than one weekSuper fast shipping for Uber-sharp tools. Simple, relatively easy to use (if you know what youre doing!) with a wide selection of carving nibs, this is a must have for Art. I bought these for my daughter, who is an AP Art student in high school, and she made the most incredible block print out of a linoleum tile! They didnt teach that to me in high school! She was very pleased with the tool set, so I highly recommend it to you!
