Well built 6U rack. The only negative thing is that I wouldnt trust the drywall anchors that the provided with the rack. I upgrade to toggle anchors (which maybe overkill, but better safe than sorry) to help ensure it doesnt rip out of the drywall.

I have two stacked on top of each other. In the image you can see how its not properly manufactured. I had to remove the crossbar and force the width on the lower part so I could get the rack mount equipment into the rack. Its tapered and you have to bend it outwards. Usually Im really happy with this brand (Startech), but I really wasnt too happy with this. I will mention that it sort of looked like it was returned and repackaged, comparing it to the new one. I managed to get it working because I didnt want to return it. But frustrating nevertheless.

This is a great rack in terms of overall appearance and build quality so I can easily recommend it. While the cable management cutouts are not sharp they are still metal and therefore have the potential to damage cables over time. The addition of rubber or plastic grommets here would be a good idea. Also, as others have noted it should come with enough cage nuts to properly complement its 6U size.

Assuming you mounted it properly to studs, this thing is incredibly sturdy. Should be able to support any equipment no problem.

Sturdy and easy to install. I use it for the personal network at my home to house my 24 port switch and my router, modem. I got a shelf for the bottom to go along with. Great purchase.

Some of the 1U devices items fit really tight and the mounting holes may be too close vertically.

Seems like a decent deal. Be aware, do not use the screw assembly the send! They do not stay in the square holes, they pop out the back, then if you w as nt yo ever remove the unit from the rack, the screa strips into the nut assembly then you cant get it out. I even tried vise grips to grab the nut from the backside, it was impossible to grab the nut, too tight of space. I tried everything. But eventually, the ears on my dbx compressor took too much stress and broke off. Huge loss for a nut that probably only cost a penny. Anyways, buy aftermarket assemblies before screwing in your units....

Decent quality, good value but doesnt include necessary hardware to fill the 6u. Only includes half the hardware needed to be able to fill rack.

I needed something that would fit under the stairs for a patch panel and UDM pro. This is perfect. Well made and easy to install.
