I primarily do water colors. this paper is for multi media, including water media. Watercolors do NOT show on this paper I tried many of my w.c. pencils to see how theyd work and only a few showed. Perhaps pastels? If you work with acrylics, this would be awesome.

Very stiff paper for mixed media use

I love this paper. I’m a color pencil artist and you can press down to burnish on this paper and it doesn’t leave an indentation on the sheet below. On black you need to layer lighter colors for more vibrancy. I’ve bought this quality in all colors. I would recommend this paper

This is a nice little block of paper. The tan color is lighter than craft paper, and I believe will work well with colored pencil illustrations. It is 184 lbs, which I didnt realize, so I was pleasantly surprised. Its more like cardstock than paper. Colored pencil glides over the vellum surface easily and coverage is complete and quick.
