Im 53, and hate how seat belts (even if theyre adjustable) cut right across my throat. I used to have some of these years ago, and recently purchased these for both of our vehicles. Theyre really easy to just slip on, and contrary to what others have said, its not impossible to adjust the seat belt without removing the clips.

After looking at many products for keeping the seatbelt from irritating my neck, I chose this one because its metal (durable) and relatively easy to install. So far Im happy with it.

Exactly what I wanted...

This worked great to provide a secure, tight car seat install in the rear facing position in the center seat of our car. Without the clip, installing with a seat belt caused our seat to tilt. The clips are as advertised, feel sturdy and stay in place.

We have an older car; the seatbelts lock and are safe, but they don’t tighten enough around the car seat (Safety 1st brand), to secure it, and we do t have a LATCH system. I even had the local police check the car seat installation. They told me they are trying to do away with the locking clips for car seats. However! Without the clips, we would not have been able to pass the inspection. The officer ended up having to use them after about 45 min of trying to secure the car seat without the clips. Please don’t discontinue these items! People don’t understand that not everyone can just up and buy a new car when they have a baby.
