Greater than one weekVery pleased with this tool set. I am a professional metal worker by vocation, and I use one of these punches where I make my living, the other in my garage. So far they work flawlessly, and hold up to the rigors of real life duty. Came in a very convenient padded case for carry and storage. Also arrived early

> 3 dayOne of the 2 punches has stopped working, was not used much. They dont punch the hardest but a couple punches on the same spot and it is perfect

> 3 dayBoth units failed to actuate after a few uses. Very disappointed. I have tried adjusting them, greasing, shimming, etc., and they fail to actuate 90% of the time. They just sit in my drawer in the nice case useless. Im just going to spend the money and buy the Starrett Brand version.

> 3 dayThis center punch is well made and at a very good price for two. In my environment, they should last indefinitely! Good buy.

> 3 dayWork well, but it would be nice if they charged less for just a single punch instead of making you buy two of them.

Greater than one weekMy husband loved the case but one of them broke within the first day. Too much hassle to return. The other works ok but. Both should be better. Kinda disappointed since I got this as a gift.

> 3 dayCompared to my previous spring loaded center punches, this one is slightly inferior while still being adequate for occasional use. It is considerably longer than my other ones, making it more difficult to fit into confined areas. It also doesnt have a particularly strong action, and it only punches toward the very end of a relatively stiff travel. So its kind of big, weak, and heavy. But it does generally work. Im using them to lay out railroad signal control terminal boards which are plastic/fiber coated plywood, and you really have to punch 2 or 3 times to make an impression. Which doesnt sound bad until you realize Im punching to drill dozens, sometimes hundreds of holes and a more effective tool would be far less taxing. The one upside of the large size is that its easier to grip. The fact that you get two is a bonus and they are inexpensive which must be considered for a tool that will be eventually lost. The little case is nice but not very useful unless I can repurpose it. Id rather have a harder/sharper tip with a stronger action than the case.
