> 3 dayI bought these because I was looking for files that wont cut me when filing close to the skin (I get a lot of lifting if I dont rough up the nail as close as possible to my skin.) These are 50% better at not cutting me but they still give me sore skin and sometimes cuts. I tried attaching the sticker slightly back from the edge but the plastic is still a little sharp. I might try buffing the edge with a crystal file to see if I can round it smooth. Ill report back. For some reason I expected them to have 5 180 grit, and 5 100 grit stickers. Its logical to attach them to both sides when only using on myself. I got 10 100 grit stickers of course, so now I have to order another 180 grit set to have all the files I need. I am using them for myself only so didnt consider that the second side would need to be replaced between clients because it wouldnt be sanitary, even if unused. I guess this is logical for professionals who dont want to waste two stickers per client. I like that I can replace the stickers when the file wears down, and I like that the stickers seem longer lasting than other cheap emery boards. I would use these on a friend after soaking in alcohol if I was sure neither of us had contaminants in our nails, but I wouldnt count on the plastic to be sterile for clients. There is no way to get 100% of contaminants out of plastic (this is why most milk jugs are not recycled at the plant, FYI.) I dont know about fungus though. For clients I would use a metal file that you can put in an autoclave or soaked in alcohol I suppose. (Side thought: they should make these out of acrylic. That is whats used for dentures and it doesnt seem to be a problem for denture cleaning. Just an idea. I dont know if acrylic holds bacteria though.)

Greater than one weekAs a manicuring student I can tell you that we put files through the test. These are by far the most comfortable and durable files I have ever used. Invest in these, you wont be sorry.

> 3 dayThis is my 2nd time purchasing this product. Purchased it bc of recommendations from other nail techs. I like the ease of the peel & stick. When I used for filing I couldnt see instant results, but this may be due to my being a novice at the time of my previous purchase. I purchased these with a better understanding of how to file correctly. I trust those who recommended the item.

> 3 dayI love these files! The are very durable. They dont breakdown like the other brand I was using. I do my own acrylic nails and you need a good nail file to get the edges shaped just right. I put a file on each side of the plastic base so that I had a file on both sides just like you buy in the store. I will be back to buy more when its time to order more!
