I can think of no legitimate reason these are a hollow tube other than someone wanted them to double as a smoothie straw. Manufacturer could have easily designed so that the tube has closed off ends. These are just asking for mold unless you really clean/dry them properly.

My baby loves his tube teether. Love how they come with stoppers so baby won’t accidentally hurt themselves while learning to use them. They’re super easy to clean and my baby is able to easily hold and pass the teether from hand to hand.

I’ve had his product for a little while now to see how my baby likes it and it’s a hit. When I first got it, she was able to grab it right away and put it right to her mouth. A month or so later, she still enjoys this teething toy. I like how you can adjust the rings on it to prevent chocking and how it’s small enough for the hands and mouth. I don’t like accumulating a lot of toys, so it coming in a 2-pack is nice as well. It also comes with 2 cleaning brushes to keep the inside from any build up. I’d recommend it to teething babies.
