Platform holes wider than the rail posts, I had to drill new holes closer together to assemble. Wood is very lightweight, with several large chips peeling off. The 2 included washers are in no way stable enough to secure it, had to get 2 more. Poor quality all around. Wont be buying again.

very disappointed. was super excited to find a combo toy with my chinchilla’s favorite types of toys and i received a wooden shelf with a knitted basket insert for the hole in the shelf. im not sure how this is a small animal toy at all but it was a huge waste of money because im not too sure what to do with this.

Our chinchilla cut himself on this toy, resulting in infected lesion. Six hundred dollars plus later, following removal, we felt obligated to share our warning. It just takes one loose/out of place metal link or thread.
