> 3 dayI have been looking for a set of heavy duty clippers for my toenails, which tend to be very think and hard to cut. I have used regular clippers for years, but they have trouble cutting my nails sometimes. I tried a newer type of the pinch clippers and they were very sharp, but same as the others - hard to hold while trimming. I saw this set with the plier type cutters for tough nails so I tried it Wow... First, there is not just 1 set of clippers, but 2 regular type pinch clippers and 1 plier type. All 3 of them are very sharp and easy to use, but the plier type was the one I liked best for my toes. It was easy to hold, easy to position, and easier than the others for cutting the nails. Unlike the pinch clippers (which were also very sharp and functional), I never felt the plier type was going to fall out of my hands. Normally I have to hold the pinch type with 2 fingers holding the lever and 1 on the bottom so I dont drop them (usually cut over the toilet so ... no thanks if dropped) and that makes it hard to get the pressure I need to cut sometimes. The plier type has firm handles with a good grip that fit my hand well and because of the angled head (which has a curved blade set) it was easier to get in position and cut the big toe which is the thickest. It was easier to cut the nails on all my toes and I used the other pinch clippers for my fingers. The 2 pinch type are very sharp as well and 1 has a nail catcher that you slide up when cutting and back down to empty. All worked well. It also has cuticle tools and a metal file in the kit. The cuticle pushers helped push the skin back from the nail bed making it larger. The trimmer is very sharp and easily cut off some of the raised rough spots I have, and I really like the metal file for smoothing the trimmed nails when done. Im not an expert, but they were easy to use. It even comes with a little instruction book that shows you how to use the tools in case youre like me and havent seen them before. Its fairly simple, but covers the important stuff I needed. The main plier type clipper has 2 sets of springs, but you only engage 1 set for clipping (trying to do both would just get in the way of each other) so you have a spare spring if needed in the future. I found more use than I realized I needed in the set. All I initially wanted was the plier type clipper, but having the full set - in a nice tin - with cutout spaces for the clippers in a firm foam - and the instruction booklet made it very handy and easy to transport. If you have tough toenails like me, or just want a really nice and functional nail-care set for home or travel, this is the one. As a guy who struggles to keep my nails clipped, this set really made it easy on me and my wife is happy too. Shes planning her own little spa day at home now that shes seen it....

> 3 dayI was skeptical of a use at home kit like this, after spending so much time at a podiatrist. However Ive genuinely surprised by how sturdy they are, and how easy I can trim my nails. I wont go into all my food and nail problems, but suffice it to say that I use these a lot.

> 3 dayThe set is nicely packaged. The clippers are very sharp, yet easy to handle. Fit nicely in hand without slipping. I like the high quality of each tool. Dont like the tin it comes in is the only thing to keep it in, tin should be hinged with locking lid if it is going to contain the kit, for shipping , it was great. Like the kit so far.

> 3 dayI will start out by saying this. I hardly write reviews but I felt I needed to write this one. For starters back in my younger days I had ingrown toe nails and have had to maintain keeping them cut and I’ve tried to find good pairs to cut my toe nails with and no luck at all. But I found these and thought by chance I would give them a try! And got these in and and I work third shift and got out of the shower and sit down on the bed and thought I would give them a try and much to my surprise they didn’t budge or anything at all. So for anyone out there that might have the same problem I do. These will be worth the buy and I hope this helps anyone out there.

> 3 dayThis nail grooming (manicure/pedicure) set contains some of the best-quality nail clippers we have ever bought. The rest of the nail tools are all well-made and will last a lifetime. The big one is especially helpful in trimming hard-to-reach nail corners - good for left- or right-handed persons. The other two clippers can tackle all your nail-clipping needs – whether you have big or small hands. A lovely tin box to keep everything in place after each use, plus a handy guide with pictures, make this the ideal nail trimming & grooming set for every household. Most of our nail clippers have come and & gone, and a few-- tossed into the garbage bin. This manicure/pedicure set is a keeper.
