Thule Crossover 2 Laptop Backpack, 30L

> 24 hourI really wanted to like this backpack, and I was fine with the high price. But in the end all it is, is a backpack that looks nice. And has a cool name. But functional wise, it falls very short. The biggest problem, it has too many large storage areas, and not enough small storage areas. So if you have lots of little items, like cords, pens, flashlights, keys, etc. Then you’re going to be disappointed. If you have lots of laptops, tablets, large items, etc. Then you might be OK. I would consider this backpack ideal for somebody who wants to carry four laptops. Seriously, the bag literally has four laptop type sleeves. But for me, just not enough storage areas for smaller items.

> 24 hourGreat and spacious backpack perfect for the on the go type. I am a pilot and Jet around a lot I usually use this as my go to backpack. Thule has such a quality to it that even through my many trips the bag has held up surprisingly longer than expected. Pockets for everything and an organization system that feels incredibly satisfying I use this bag when I am flying as Pilot in Command or just traveling. So good I bought the Dob kit they offer and the electronics organizer. Love their products to pieces. Zippers are strong and high quality the outer fabric is very durable. and the side pocket fits a MIRA 17 ounce bottle like a glove. A place for everything and everything in its place.

> 24 hourOn paper, this backpack has most of everything I wanted. I wanted the protective case for my glasses, a luggage sleeve and a water bottle area sturdy enough for my Hydroflask. I ordered the blue and the color is perfect. The bag is sturdy - too sturdy. I had a difficult time putting my glasses in the protective case, let alone my phone. I had a difficult time opening the bag to get things out of it. And the luggage sleeve - it was such a snug fit over my suitcase handle that it took 2 hands and some struggle to get it off. Perhaps it will take some time to soften the fabric, but I dont want to wait months. I am returning my 30L Thule and having to resume my search.

> 24 hourIt was exciting to receive this product. This backpack was really stylish and seemed to be made of durable materials that would withstand great punishment. And the 30L storage capacity is truly impressive. Unfortunately, I grossly underestimated the sizes of the backpack. As my own frame is not especially large, I ultimately returned this product with some regret. It would have been great to use something that looked to nice and was made of such great materials.

> 24 hourI liked the glasses pocket. I liked how it stood up. I liked the organization in the front pocket. I detested the copious deep pockets for storing electronics, there were like, 5. And no where to separate out bulky items. My stuff would get caught on the deep pockets when I just wanted to put a stack of papers, a book and a clipboard in my backpack and go someplace. As well, the super structured case made it hard to see inside. In the end I returned it because it made so much noise. The zippers are loud to zip, which is fine. But just walking around a library I would get embarrassed because they were so clacky. clack clack clack. Drove me nuts. I returned it, got the SubTerra 25L, love it. Its nice and quiet, the deep zipper on the main pocket lets me organize whats in my bag. There are still 2 separated areas for a laptop and a tablet. Totes fits my needs. I do miss the nice organized front pocket on the Crossover 2.

> 24 hourLets cut to the chase - this is a solid, well designed backpack that rocks. I researched a ton of backpacks that have a structured exterior style and after owning this one for about a year, it has not disappointed. I dont write a ton a reviews but feel I had to on this one. It wears well for a tall guy and it has a padded back that makes it comfortable for wearing a long period of time. You can really fit a lot of stuff into 4 zippered areas. I was concerned the 30L would be too big for under the airplane seat in front of you, but this has been the best aspect fo the bag. It fits under the seat perfectly and when you pull it out to access items, all 4 zippers are easily accessible. Also the water bottle sleeve on the side and wallet/keys sleeve on the other side are pretty handy. And lastly, yes...it is durable. I wore it at Disney with all my familys stuff (4 water bottles, ponchos, spray fan, snacks, change of kid clothes, cell phone chargers, etc) and when I loaded onto the Space Mountain ride, I put it between my legs figuring it would be fine. About halfway through, a sharp dip and tight turn, and that sucker flew right out! I definitely heard it hit some metal bars or some sort of scaffolding. Not a good feeling to lose it, but they found it the next day and when I picked it up from lost and found, no scratches, and all items inside were intact. Pretty good stress test!

> 24 hourThe bag has nice features however, the bag was way too structured and heavy. If youre a high school or college student, would not recommend.
