> 3 dayI love these sponges for washing horses. The roughness of the sponge really gets the dirt and the horses seem to enjoy the massage.

> 3 dayThis is wonderful for quick grooming dry. We use it instead of a curry. We love it for bathing too! It gets all the funk out of our horses!

Greater than one weekThis sponge is magical! I used it for the first time today to bathe my horse who has been dealing wit skin issues and sensitivity. She loved it! That melting pinched nose of bliss was proof that it isn’t too rough and gets a thorough clean. It held suds well, too! Definitely buying another!

> 3 dayWarmth and stretch are irrelevant. This sponge-like product is excellent for bathing with soap and water or dry brushing. It leaves the coat (horse in my case) very glossy.

> 3 dayI have never found a product as good as this one. It cleans my horses coat so well and really picks up the dirt. I love that you can bend it so it works great for legs. It’s also soft enough that i can use it on my horses forehead and cheeks. It’s not that easy to clean but if it’s dirty it holds the dirt and doesn’t shed it everywhere. I have repurchased this many times and will so many times more!

> 3 dayBought this because I have one horse with really sensitive skin when it comes to grooming, and so far he really likes this much better than a brush. It works almost better than a hard brush in my opinion. Now all my friends ask to borrow it

> 3 dayInteresting application for the same plastic mesh that intake air filters are made from. This is that same black plastic mesh used in vehicles to prevent bugs and debris from getting caught in the inner workings of the air conditioning and heating system. This same material is used to make buffer pads for floor polishing machines. This is not a sponge. It holds very little water. It would work better to apply water and soap if one side of it were an actual sponge, like those kitchen scrubbie sponges. That said, it did smooth my horse’s hair, and remove the loose hair. It seemed to remove a noticeable amount of loose dust, and I could see where it would remove lightly caked on dried mud, especially on the face and legs. And my horse did not seem to mind when I used it on the outside of his sheath and between his rear legs. I can’t imagine that this would be very effective on a winter coat or a shaggy pony. The little pokey parts are not very long, unlike a regular brush or curry, and they would not clean the loose skin and dirt under a thick coat. But, as I mentioned before, this is fine on the face, legs, sheath and bottom. I have used this dry on a horse with a summer coat. When I tried to use it wet on the same horse, I also needed a normal sponge to put water and soap on his coat, because it holds very little water. It seemed to scrub okay, but didn’t seem to do a better job than just a regular sponge. So, it is interesting. It may come in handy at some point. But a nice big kitchen scrubbie sponge would do the same or a better job, and not cost as much. You might be able to get four kitchen scrubbie for the price of one of these. Your mileage may vary. :)
