My Mac had become so slow to use. This literally saved me from buying a new laptop.

So Ive had my macbook (13 inch, mid-2012) for about 6 years, and one day it wouldnt turn on and made a beeping noise with a black screen. A quick diagnosis from Google told me that the RAM was damaged or not working properly. The apple store was asking $400 to fix the macbook, but a youtube video showed me how to replace the RAM myself. To install the Timetec Hynix IC 8GB KIT it took about 10 minutes and my computer turned on instantly. I am so happy with this product and the fact that my computer now works during the Shelter in Place.

I have the Macbook Pro 13 mid 2012, and Ive had it since 2015 or so. I upgraded the specs by using 16 gigs of RAM (it came with only 4 gigs); and replaced the harddrive with a SSD. Money well spent. The computer works faster than when I first bought it, and starts up in under 30 seconds (wow!). I got so accustomed to a slow sluggish computer, that I forgot how efficient you can be when your computer works fast. Im literally so, so impressed! Highly recommended.

I run a lot of audio editing (Logic Pro X), photoshop, and other heavy software and my computer was really struggling to keep up as it was a 2012 MacBook Pro and even with a 500gb SSD and 8gb of ram it still was having a lot of trouble. I just installed this in just a few minutes and my computer is running SOOOO much better! It’s made a huge difference and was super easy to get back up and running! Everything runs smoothly and much much better!

The iMac I worked on for a friend of a friend had two 2-gig RAM modules and 4 slots (2 open). I moved the existing 2 2-gig modules to the empty slots and installed these two new 8-gig modules in their place. This gives a total of 20-gigs of RAM. The owner is quite happy.
