the detail isnt as distinct as the copper or pewter, my first choices. I do like this box cover none the less. I plan to order again when the other colours are available.

what did i expect for 2 tissue covers at this price......well, theyre okay. i put them in the least visible spots in the house rather than hassle with returning them. The woodgrain is a faux finish that is okay but the wood is rough and has blade marks on it and the black grain has blobs like its an ink overlay. theyll work but i would have even liked a natural woodgrain with a matte finish better. I wouldnt buy this unless youre using in a cabin or woodsy decor

It looks amazing. Very heavy and classic looking. However, I already knicked my finger on the jagged, rough cut opening on top. I grabbed it there to put the box on. Also, it’s way too big for a puffs square tissue box. I mean it’s totally functional and weight holds the box down nicely, but I would rather it have a smaller footprint than a 3/4” gap on the sides. Also wish it had a bottom so you could move it without the tissue box falling out. Sort of minor gripes, but it’s the best looking tissue box I’ve see .
