I bought this specifically for my Surface Laptop. I was having an incredibly hard time picking the right case for this laptop because I wanted a case with a PRECISE fit. I didnt want any extra room on the sides or top. I wanted it to be snug and protected. The surface laptop isnt super common and it has a unique size, so it was hard finding one that would fit it perfect. I was having to look like crazy and find the size that measured the closest. After hours of searching I ran into this case. It caught my attention because of the protected corners in case you drop it. Then I realized the case had the exact dimensions needed for the Surface Laptop. I was very nervous because I wasnt sure that it would fit it like I wanted it. It arrived and I was VERY VERY impressed and incredibly happy with it. The exterior is quality material- its thick and not too soft where it will get dirty so easily. Additionally the inside is soft and has the right amount of protection on it. The zipper pocket on the outside is also great and very durable for the storing accessories. This isnt the slimmest case out there for a laptop but its definitely not overly bulky. I think its average for what you would expect out of laptop case. This isnt as thin as a sleeve that is pretty tight ,very thin and minimal protection against a drop-- but its perfect if you want to protect your laptop and put some extra accessories in the outside pocket.

Ive been searching for a laptop sleeve like this for a while. While not as protective as, say, putting your laptop in a $80 pelican case, this sleeve is *noticeably* more protective and better built than any other Ive tried. They put extra padding on the bottom and edges, where other sleeves are often too thin, but where your laptop needs the MOST protection. The case is thick and fits the new 13 Macbook Pro (late 2016 on) perfectly. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
