Having a direct plug into the wall can help keep your place clean and neat.

First off, the USB-C is not the high amperage ability. Second, and most important, the startup surge of a vacuum killed the outlet. Ive run a vacuum here for years, so I know the circuit can handle it. Skip and buy a higher quality one.

This was my seventh order of this item over the last several years as I have installed them in multiple locations in my home and in my three children’s homes. This most recent order did not operate properly after installation as the Tamper Resistant feature caused it to be very difficult to fully insert a plug even after multiple attempts. I reached out to the seller by email and they promptly responded with an offer to provide a replacement that they would test before sending. I just received the replacement. What more could you expect? These are very functional receptacles as long as you have room in the outlet box as all of these USB type receptacles are deeper than simple outlets.

Charging ports failed after the first power failure in the house. Spent a lot of money for the convenience that didn’t last long.

The description is not correct. It no longer comes with a faceplate, the box it comes with has a sticker over the FREE faceplate listed on the side. With out the faceplate it is more expensive then other outlets that do the same thing.

This works like a charm. So excited to be able to charge my Google Pixel 2 XL using USB-C hi-speed tech. Im going to put one in every room!

Nice product, will buy more

Second time I’ve purchased one of these. First one went into the bedroom. Like it so much I purchased one for downstairs. The second one did not come with any replacement front plates, nor did it come with a faceplate. I do t care so much about the front plate as the one installed is white, which is what I want. I do need a faceplate however. May just purchase from Home Depot as it is .98 and faster/ easier than returning or getting a second item.

Simple as an outlet to install. Seems to charge devices well, according to the power advertised.

It charges my phone with no power puck. It charges a macbook pro but will not keep it charged under heavy processing loads
