Does pull like I thought it would. I only have a 17 foot boat..but it didn’t last long. Strap broke several times.on to the next

I replaced the original equipment winch on my boat trailer with this. Used it once and am taking it off - see photo. I had to stop to tighten the winch no fewer than 6 times, the strap must have been stretching. Odd, since I replaced the strap on my original winch and never had to retighten it. I figured this mfr just cheaped out on the strap and when I went to put my old strap (less than a year old), I could see the huge difference between the two. And, the bolt that attaches the strap to the winch was quite bent! It also lacked a sleeve that the previous rig had which protects the strap fabric from the bolt. This winch was rated the same as the original equipment winch but doesnt cut it. Nice ratchet assembly tho...

Very Good Product! I made the mistake of trying to replace just the strap on my old one. Defintely not worth the time! Better off just buying one of these and not messing with trying to attach the strap or having to sew the new strap on. If you are buying this for a boat this worked good for my 14ft Aluminum V-Hull with a 127lb outboard engine. I also have it loaded pretty heavy with bass boat mod flooring and cabinets. Looks pretty sharp as well in the gloss black. The only part that needs attached once it arrives is the handle which is just a wrench job that takes a minute at most.

Great winch! Solid construction and Im pretty sure the parts are powder coated instead of painted. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a lighter winch.

After about 2 months they got rust all over them and they stay under a covered carport. Im just gonna throw them in the trash and get a different brand.

For the money the look and durability are nice. When pulling up my 17’ bass boat it struggled when it got to the end and slipped intermittently. Could have just been the unit , didn’t happen every time. Worth a shot for the money and even with the occasional slip still worked well for what I needed.
