This allowed me to run the cord parallel across the back of the printer, rather than having to have a perpendicular connection. With a straight (perpendicular) connection, the printer sat out from the wall, given the limits of bending. But with this Up angle, it sits close to the wall.

I needed the right angle so I could push a desk right up against the wall worked great and its a full 10 long.

I bought this just because of the angle in the connector, its a space saver and prevent the cable from unnecessary strain. Other than that, it does what an ethernet cable is supposed to do, transfer data.

The right angle connector worked perfectly for me behind a piece of furniture. I trust Tripp Lite as a solid brand with solid, legit components.

A bit pricey, but works well to redirect the ethernet cable downward and wall hugging, avoiding the object directly in front of the jack.
