I have two Pomeranians and I use this on them and their hair is soft and clean after this.

Unlike most shampoos where vets do NOT recommend shampooing a dog every week, this shampoo is the exception to the vet recommendation. We have a Leonberger puppy, and its more than puppy order we are dealing with. That order can take over the aroma of a house. So the need to shampoo every week is a requirement. So the good news about this shampoo is you can shampoo your dog safely on a weekly bases but the reason for not giving it a 5-star rating, is the clean smell for our puppy doesnt last in the summer months in the PNW. So we have had to supplement occasionally with Lillian Ruff Waterless Dog Shampoo should the smells return before the next weekend shampooing. The combination of the two works well together. For most other breeds, I believe you will not have to go to this extreme, and just this shampoo should do it just fine. I highly recommend this shampoo because it is gentle and healthy for a dogs skin to use on a weekly basis.

This is a great shampoo, but you have to remember that its in a concentrated form so be sure to add plenty of water after applying it.This is a great brand, and I have been using it for several years.I have had good results using it.buying it in a big container is economical as well.Just be sure to buy the pump when you order this. They are inexpensive, I picked up two for less than $10 including shipping..I have a sheltie, and it makes his coat look really good.This company also makes SPA brand dog shampoo which is also good.

My dog tolerates the smell, and we like it. No doggy odor for a few days. The price per oz. was why we bought this, since we use it for Muffin twice a week.

I have two dogs, and needed to get a soap that would last for a while and help whiten them. One dog is a white toy poodle, and the soap doesnt really make him as white as the soap I used to buy. The other is a Blue Merle Aussiedoodle, his white patches are slightly brighter, but not as bright as the times I used the toys old whitening shampoo. This does not work as a conditioner for my dogs, so I still need that on the side. The scent is amazing though! My son is obsessed with the smell and color (which is a gorgeous blue). It still takes a lot of soap (once properly diluted) to wash my bigger dog, but definitely is saving us money!! ^_^ So, will definitely buy again, just dont recommend if you want your puppy-friends to be true white.

This stuff will make your dogs coat shine. I own an Australian Shepperd and these dogs tend to have longer hair. My dogs hair is beautiful after washing her with this shampoo.
