After scouring Amazon and Reddit for reviews that all generally said double-sleeved dragonshield matte commander decks wouldnt fit from years ago, I took a chance anyway. After I first sleeve my decks, I push some air out of the pile manually, and slowly, until it gives no more. Then I place them under a heavy book overnight. Then two heavy books overnight. Then they go in a Boulder deck box. While it took a little bit more finesse to get the decks in (compared to the Boulder Deck boxes) it didnt take an especially long time, nor did I have to spend an annoying amount of effort trying to figure out how to keep the cards from being too tightly squeezed.

I got the notion to purchase this after seeing stellar reviews on Tolarian CCs YouTube page., and am incredibly pleased! I would highly encourage this version over the 60-card version whether youre doing EDH or Standard/Modern. Great design, safety, portability, and it even has a nice feel on your skin. The deck box is big enough to easily hold 100 EDH cards and a set of tokens, but its also an ideal size for a 60-card deck along with tokens and a sideboard. I would never bother buying the smaller 60-card version at all. The tray on top is deeper than I expected, which is a good thing. I currently run a deck that involves lots of Energy counters going up and down constantly so I simply use your typical Mancala/Bath beads, meaning I need to hold about 20 beads, a handful of d6s, and 2 d20s for life. The tray holds it all quite snugly and without having to cram it all in. Overall, you cant lose with this awesome product. I would have loved to buy it at my LFGS but they didnt carry it.

Great looking deck box. Its well built, magnets are very strong, all the flaps fold smoothly. This is perfect for two Commander decks. But, I cant see how this would be able to fit double-sleeved commander decks though. Both my Commander decks are single sleeved and they both fit in with some room to spare (this is including the usual 10 token cards, sleeved): See pictures for reference. In my opinion, if you had a double sleeved commander deck, it would be a very tight/snug fit; Personally, I prefer my decks to be a bit loose fitting for easy ingress and egress so I dont risk damaging any cards. Also as a side note, SLEEVED token cards will NOT fit flush in the center token caddy: See photo. Not really a big deal, but its worth mentioning. The sleeves Im using are standard sized Dragonshield, not the Perfect Fit kind.

Ive been using this deck box for just over a year now and its still in the same working condition as the day I got it. Initially I used the main trays with 100-card Commander decks in the new Dragon Shield Matte sleeves which allowed for some breathing room for the cards. Then I put KMC Perfect Size sleeves within the Dragon Shield sleeves and while its a much tighter fit, it is still possible to fit a 100-card deck in each tray. Its important to note the top and bottom cards will slightly bend due to the space constraints. Since noticing that I have switched from Dragon Shield Mattes to the Ultra Pro Eclipse sleeves and am much happier. Some reviews stated issues with the glue and other things, but I have not experienced any issues yet.

This deck case is AWESOME! It arrived quickly and in great condition. I just recently got back into Pokemon because of my nephews and nieces and was in need of a deck case. I used to carrying around the plastic Ultra Pro deck cases, which I would stuff into another deck carrying case/box and that would be put into a messenger bag. BUT that was way back when I was a teenager. Things have definitely changed since then. Onto the product now. It really is a site to see! The material used feels good in the hands and will not slip. The magnets are strong! I stuffed it full of cards and shook it like crazy... Not a budge from the flap opening!! Hopefully it stays that way. The magnets do protrude a bit when the case is opened. That was not an issue for me though. Yes, it might seem pricey, but like the famous saying goes You get what you pay for. And you definitely do with this! Ive uploaded plenty of photos to help anyone whos interested in deciding if this deck case is right for them. My current set up is dices and coins in the middle and a 60 card deck with 5 sidelined cards in the two deck sections. I have them single sleeved and they take up just a little over half of the deck area, so there is still quite some room left. Ill have to try double sleeves and see how that works, but judging by the space Im sure itll be just fine. For your reference though, I swapped out one of the decks and was able to squeeze in 220 Pokemon cards in one of the deck holders. It was not a snug fit. I could have squeezed a few more cards in if I wanted to.

I bought this thinking it would fold my commander deck since it said it held 120+ cards. Sadly it did not, but would probably hold a 60 card deck. The box seemed to be pretty sturdy though.

Ultimate Guards sidewinder 80 is my favorite deckbox, so i gave this a shot. The format of the flaps and the trays for each deck area/middle compartment give it a bit extra bulk, and is a bit awkward to find the best orientation for easy access. I ended up finding it to be a good place to put my staple spells/traps respecitvely in each side, and my field centers and tokens in the center (after removing the dice tray). For yugioh its a bit large, but thats most every deckbox as they are made for standard size like mtg/pokemon. Overall though, ultimate guard quality cant be beat, the magnets and closures are strong too. Well made.

I recently got involved in the Pokemon trading card game and I was in need of a deck box to hold my competitive cards. I tried the Ultra Pro Deck Box and the Ultimate Guard Monolith 100+. I have problems with both. For the Ultra Pro, the lid never stayed open and it was difficult to put my cards in there, especially with a disabled hand. For the Ultimate Guard Monolith, it is of great quality, but it too is difficult to open to consistently add and remove cards and access the dice and token. Plus, the interior is plastic and I always feel that I am going to damage my cards, even when theyre sleeved. Enter the Flip N Tray. BUILD AND MATERIAL: WOW. Thats a tl;dr summary of the material. It feels sturdy on the exterior and the interior is high-quality microfiber. After adding cards and dice and tokens, I was rough with the deck box. I tossed it up in the air and threw it across the room to a friend. The cards, dice, and tokens were undamaged. I feel confident that I can use this for extended travel without fear of damage. Shaking the deck box when there are dice in the top emits a very satisfying sound. ACCESS: Ease of access to the cards, dice, and tokens is everything you can ask for. The flap wraps around most of the deck box and is secured by strong magnets. Opening the deck box is easy as it gives once the magnets are separated. Once opened, you can pull out the dice and card trays. You also have the choice to rotate the trays to your liking: one side has a small cut out to pull the trays out; the other lacks the cut out and has the Ultimate Guard logo. The side with the cut out is the most efficient way of accessing your items. The other way requires you to shake the deck box to loosen the trays. CARD FIT: My Pokemon cards are single-sleeved. I am able to fit an entire deck (60 cards), a divider, and 20 more cards without it them being too cramped. The top tray holds my GX marker, two condition markers, and 15+ damage counter dice. There is still room to spare! THE BAD: My only complaint would have to be the fact that you have to put your cards in sideways so the fronts are not facing you when you open it. Perhaps its done to prevent them from falling out in an unlikely scenario where the flap comes undone? I am unsure. Its just a pain to have to pull the card tray out, rotate it, and then pull the cards out. But thats a minor complaint! THE BOTTOM LINE: This is a MUST-BUY for players. In fact, I suspect the larger, twin version would be just as high quality as this. Buy it. You wont regret it.

bought this used from amazon warehouse and saved about 12 bucks. heres the deal, the product is amazing, as everyone knows ultimate guard is the best pro card carrying storage option. so the product is a 9.5/10 my only complaint is that on one of the pieces of felt on the inside is very bubbly and will probably start to detach down the road. having said all of this, I think buying it used was completely worth it due to amazons side. because Amazon Warehouse listed it as acceptable and in ruff shape cosmetically. this beast was still in its original box all be it the box was a little dinged up. the case exterior itself is immaculate without a scratch. so the only real fault with this box is the felt coming off the side of the case on the inside which is why Im presumably imagining its been used and probably returned for one not defective. Im still ecstatic that I was able to pick up this other wise expensive box for a rather affordable price. over all an excellent transaction of amazons side, and a almost perfect product on ultimate guards side.
