I bought these for our soler outside blinds there are no instructions to install. says easy to install maybe would be if there were instructions.

I used these on my outdoor pull down sun shade when the original broke.

Used to replace a broken bracket rather than replace the whole shade. The part that turns was facing the wrong way. Slide the plastic cover off and unscrew 2 screws to rotate it so that it’s facing downwards if that’s what you need. The whole thing is metal except for the plastic cover. Very sturdy and perfect replacement. I used my original holes and just screwed it in place. Very pleased.
