> 3 dayInitial monitor did not save settings, and even with the brightness control set all the way up, was not very bright. Customer service replaced the monitor with another model that was also 2K, but only 60hz. This replacement model remembered its settings (hdmi with external power), and has two modes of brightness. When powered only from the USB-C along with the video signal the brightness is lower, maybe about 350 nits, but when powered (pass though power to the monitor first) the monitor is really bright. In addition the replacement model has a standard size HDMI connector and is lighter that the 120hz model. Kudos to the UPerfect Customer Support team for doing all they could to make a happy customer.

> 3 dayLooks great, cover does the job but isn’t particularly suited to adjusting the angle outside of a very small range. Power pass through works as expected. Controls are a little fiddly and the speakers are terrible. Vertical alignment needs a stand high enough to clear the cables or controls. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would these are all minor complaints but make it not quite a 5 star product.

Greater than one weekI use this for work frequently, it works great with the thunderbolt port on my laptop. No performance issues and it also is very light. It would be easy to take this on a trip in conjuction with a basic stand. The quality/resolution is spectacular and looks incredibly sharp. The contrast/brightness is also great out of the box! It definitely is far better than the screen on my laptop.

> 3 dayI ran into a situation where Im going to be traveling a lot more than normal. I wanted something with decent specs but also didnt want to break the bank. This ticks a lot of boxs: -2K IPS screen (note: NOT 1440P!!! There is a difference, but it wont push your system that much harder) - 120hz refresh rate (biggest selling point) - Freesync - USB C for both power and video, which can help cut down on cables. - built in speakers are perfectly functional for everyday use Some Cons worth thinking about - Product is very clearly chinese. There arent a lot of reviews or documentation if you decide to go with this monitor - Onboard menu is hard to navigate with the buttons and wheel. Luckily I have tiny hands, but someone with big/fat fingers might have a hard time - Out of the box color is terrible. Youll need to fix it once you fire it up for the first time. Otherwise, I highly recommend this! None of the cons are huge deal breakers for me considering the price.

> 3 dayI originally thought I had to use the second power cord and I didnt like that as it would make my setup clunky. It took me a minute to setup because I had the wrong cords/setup, but I was able to connect this monitor using only one USBC to USBC code to my laptop. The only issue I had was that the cord that came with the monitor was 3feet and it didnt work with my setup. I contacted support and they were prompt and very helpful in getting me the correct cord thats long enough to make my setup work. Now its working seamlessly and I love it!

Greater than one weekI bought this monitor for my M1 Macbook Air to use as a second screen when I am traveling or when I need some more screen space for work. The screen connects to power and video thru USB type C. It is possible to power the screen with my laptop but only at about 75% brightness or below. During the day when I am outside and need 100% brightness on the screen I have to power the monitor separately. I talked to customer service about this limitation and they were very responsive and helped me understand why the monitor was doing this. I dont see this as a reason not to buy it, but it is good to know for when I am working outside for the day. I havent tested any of the HDMI functionality. The cords it come with are kind of short, so it may require buying a couple extra cables. The picture on the monitor is very crisp and clean. I dont notice a huge dropoff in quality when connected to my macbook air and moving items between screens. Build quality is very good, for being plastic and lightweight. The included case and stand is kind of flimsy but it works well enough. Overall it is a good second monitor and I would recommend it to anybody using it in that manor.

> 3 dayShoutout to Lexie and the uperfect support team: Amazon delivered my package with the monitor broken, but before I’d even started looking for a contact, they reached out to make sure everything is ok in a quality control capacity. I sent pictures and they got a new monitor to me in less than a week. I need this for school and work, so it needs to be light and uncomplicated. It ticks those boxes. (Side note: once you get used to a second screen, it’s really hard to go back to using one.) I will definitely be getting a solid case for it. I also enjoy casual gaming. Gorgeous color, brightness, clarity across a variety of games, movies, and external lighting conditions. The monitor has its own set of picture adjustments built in (standards: contrast, brightness, RGB balance, etc), but you can also tune it to a more advanced degree with the computer you plan to use it with and it will retain those settings so you don’t need to readjust the picture every time it turns on. Separate from the monitor itself: I found the Microsoft HDR calibration app to fall short of what I wanted, so I went a little further into the display —> advanced settings and clicked around in the device/driver settings until I found “Color Calibration.” Make sure you select the correct monitor once you get there. You can also make a different set of adjustments in the Nvidia graphics card settings, and I piddled around for an hour or two getting everything just right across the four settings options. Overall very happy. It’s not quite as clear as a 4K monitor, but I knew that before I bought it. However, the 120hz refresh rate more than makes up for it when watching shows or gaming. Unless you’ve got some money to burn, you probably won’t find a 4K with that kind of motion-clarity in a portable monitor.

> 3 dayThe monitor is very well built and has good picture quality. The included cover/stand is nice, too, and there is an option to use a VESA 75 mount. Three inputs (HDMI and 2x USB-C) are probably more than enough, although a DisplayPort option might be useful too. The on-screen menu is easy to understand, maybe the controls (buttons and rocker) are a bit too small to be comfortable, but this is a portable monitor, so thats fine. Bonus points for being able to power the monitor with a USB-C power bank. I had no problems connecting the monitor to a PC. One issue came up when using it as a video monitor for a camera: the camera outputs a 16:9 image (1920x1080) and the monitor stretches it into 16:10, so the aspect ratio is not preserved. I contacted support, and they were very helpful and suggested to replace the monitor with a newer model that has the stretching issue fixed, a couple months later. Ill update the review when that happens. UPDATE: Ive received the replacement monitor, and it no longer has the 16:9 stretching issue. Looks like its the same model/product, just a newer revision.

> 3 dayUpdate : I liked the monitor so much, I bought a second one. Its been more than a month now since I started using the first one, and its proven to be a solid choice. I cant find any faults with this monitor. The image quality, clarity, brightness all areas that matter are very good. I like the slim bezels that makes it much easier to put multiple of these side by side. I rarely write reviews online but this one deserves a good reference so here is my experience: I use multiple monitors at all times unless i am on the go and have to work away from home. More screen real estate improves my productivity and is good for business, and once you get used to at least two monitors, its not easy to work on a single monitor for serious stuff. I had an Asus portable external monitor for a year and used it on my travels. After I lost this monitor, I bought a uperfect with a rotating stand. I thought the idea was cool. The monitor was OK but standard FullHD resolution didnt cut it for me. I have a 16 monitor with QHD resolution, so I returned that monitor and started looking for something that would match the resolution and size of my laptop screen This one looked good on paper so I ordered one. It comes with a standard packing with all the required cables included. The cover case is OK and the build quality is good enough. What really stands out is the image quality and especially the brightness. The image is crispy sharp, and this screen is even brighter than my 400 nits laptop built in screen. It is so good, Ill move the screens to make this my primary and the laptop screen to be the secondary display. For reference my laptop is LG Gram This might not have the latest and flash oled screen or super diamond cut body but does what its supposed to do perfectly. Highly recommended

> 3 dayI needed a second display to connect to a laptop during travel and this has great resolution, brightness, and is easy viewing for documents. I selected to higher resolution in order to allow for more room and it is great! It is especially nice that it can be powered by USB-C and not require a power adapter to travel with it. That keeps the weight more manageable.
