This is an absolutely incredible portable screen. Its gorgeous! It has a very high contrast ratio with deep blacks and more importantly it’s bright. Don’t overlook this aspect. Most portable screens are useless in certain lighting settings because they lack the necessary brightness for productivity. This is an incredible deal. Bought another one for my wife.

I am not a paid or supported reviewer. I purchased two of these full price on Amazon. I bought one of the 17.3” monitors in 2021 for use at work. I drove it with a MacBook Pro laptop and was able to use only a USB-C cable for both power and image. Simply amazing! The monitor may be used in either landscape or portrait orientation care of the simple, built-in stand frame. The image is bright, sharp and color seems pretty accurate. The weight and thin depth of the monitor are astounding. I can literally carry this in a small backpack with my laptop for use anywhere, anytime. It has been so handy, I just ended up buying a second one to use as a remote monitor for close-up presentations using an on-board battery and HDMI receiver I velcroed to the back. Now I have a wireless monitor I can source when I’d like to show co-workers schedules, photos, or other job information. During Covid this has been helpful rather than having them share my laptop screen for discussions. The unique thing about this model is the built in stand that permits either screen orientation. Have not seen many that offer that. For me, this replaces a larger, and far more heavy and bulky LED monitor that requires AC power and a huge box, as well as attaching and dismantling the stand every time I move along. Though I cannot comment on gaming performance, the apparent lag time and screen jitter is negligible from what I have seen. All in all the UPERFECT Ultra-Slim & Lightweight Frameless FHD FreeSync IPS HDR Gaming Display is FANTASTIC.

Update: I have decided to increase my rating for this product for 3 reasons: 1) To reflect the excellent customer service provided by UPERFECT. They really tried to do all they could to address the issue. 2) The image glitch that is pictured has not occurred again. 3) Man! That display is nice! That said, since the display was also off-center on both the original and the replacement monitor they sent me, I feel I cannot give this product 5 stars at this price range. This is likely a QC issue with this specific monitor. I recommend checking out other UPERFECT monitors if you are concerned, as their customer service is amazing. Original Review: Pros: * Display is gorgeous. * Using only a single USB-C cable for display and power is very convenient. Cons: * Quality control seems lacking: The display is slightly cut off at the top (by several rows of pixels) and too far from the bottom (empty black space with no image) * Attached image shows a graphical error occured at one point. However, this was resolved by unplugging and reattaching the monitor - but may be a sign of worse underlying issues.

The picture quality of this portable monitor has me blown away. The brightness is fantastic. Its extremely thin. The only negative I would say is the case/stand is fairly flimsy and the magnet isnt the strongest. Ill probably get a separate case to keep it in when tossing it in a bag. Other than that though, I am extremely happy with the quality of it, even the sound is great. Well see how it holds up over time, but the build quality seems solid. I bought this as a portable switch screen to use with a genki covert dock and to sometimes use as a 4th monitor with my desktop. So far, I have no complaints on the quality.

With all of the similar monitors out there how do you decide? The specifications on this for its video abilities got me to pick this one. I am glad I did. I first has issues that were my own fault for not using the provided cables and trying to use a USB-C to USB-C cable that was not video capable. When I used the provide one everything worked. The devices I have tried this with without external power are the Samsung S20+, Samsung Note20 Ultra which both work with Samsung Dex beautifully. It also worked with a OnePlus 8. Plugging in my Pixelbook GO it automatically became a second monitor that extended my desktop. I believe I saw a comment about the screen brightness being lower when plugged into a device instead of a power source. It might be a bit dimmer but is still great just using my device. To see what kind of power draw on my S20+ the monitor caused when watching a movie, I fully charged my phone before I started. I plugged it in and it powered from my phone and watched the first two hours of a three hour movie. When I stopped it after the two hours I was at 73% battery which I thought was great. I really havent tested what it would have been without the monitor. I did the test with just my phone and the battery was 79%. Only a 6% difference by using the monitor. It seems like a great monitor and for me will be a great replacement for a laptop on trips using it and my Samsung with Dex mode which makes it look like a normal laptop. You cant go wrong with this monitor.

I bought this monitor to compliment my Surface Pro 6 and/or Razer Blade 15 that I use for factory automation programming while traveling. Its very light, surprisingly thin (like modern cell phone thin), and includes all of the necessary cables to get it running. The image quality is outstanding! I have a few decent (but not high-end) monitors I use for office work. This portable monitor blew them all out of the water. Excellent color, sharpness, response, etc.. Absolutely impressive for the price-point from a brand that isnt very well known. Unfortunately it will not work for my needs. I need a portable monitor that works with whatever equipment I brought with me. This one didnt cut it. In every scenario I tried, I had to use an external power source along with a video source cable. I tried it with my Surface Dock 2, and it refused to power up from a single USB C, and also when adding an additional USB C from the docks power ports(which are rated for 15W). I NEEDED to power it from the supplied power brick. I tried again using my Razer Blade 15 Advanced. Same issue. It wouldnt work using the USB C alone, or adding power from another USB port. It HAD to be from the power brick. Im sometimes in an area where 110v outlet space is sparse, so this wont work for me. On the other hand, I purchased a Viewsonic VG1655 at the same time to test, and it works great with a single usb C to my Surface Dock 2 or my laptop. I bought these to replace an ASUS MB169+ that is sometimes hit-or-miss with reliability, but even that one powered on fine through a USB 3.0 port. I really wish this worked out, because the image quality is OUTSTANDING.

Ive tried 2 of these monitors. The Good: Like having a QLED TV on your desk. Appears to fully support HDR content via Netflix, which looks great on this display. Color volume is nearly 100% of DCI P3, 100% sRGB, and 90% of Adobe RGB. Outstanding color and brightness. Reflection handling and contrast is also great - its a glossy display. The Bad: Both monitors Ive tried so far had a line of red pixels on the screen right side, and some vignetting/purple fringing overall. The vignetting is a problem inherent to most displays, but more noticeable on QLED it seems. Samsung TVs for example seem to show it. Red pixels like this usually indicate the display ribbon cable has been damaged or is improperly connected, and is more concerning. The monitor is usable, but its distracting to see a bright red line, especially on programs with a white background. UPerfect sent me a replacement, which was very generous of them. It had a QC sticker on the back, indicating it had been checked - something the others monitors I tried didnt include. Overall, its a good, inexpensive choice for gaming or as a secondary screen on the go, but the QC issues are concerning. That said, their customer service representatives are very responsive. Its clear they are committed to standing behind their products, and I appreciate that they were willing to send a replacement. Update: UPerfect sent a replacement of the original panel for me to evaluate. I appreciate their customer service, theyre very responsive and clearly committed to improving. For that, I rate them 5 stars.

I purchased this monitor a few months ago. Everything is great and love the quality and picture. My kids played their games on the plane and they loved it. While waiting for the plane, they played some games in the waiting area. Very nice and compact screen. This monitor for some reason decided not to work for us and it wasnt working. Contacted UPERFECT support and they got back to me asap. We trouble shooter the issue and sent out another right way. They have been awesome and I would definitely buy from them again. Thank you UPERFECT!
