> 3 dayMy Shark Navigator is the best vacuum Ive ever owned! I have 2 very large, hairy dogs, and after 7 years, my Shark is still doing a good job. The motor is still good and has not lost any suction, which is usually what determines whether or not I get rid of a vacuum. Ive replaced the beater bar and belt 1 time, the filters several, and the hoses a couple of times. Replacement is easy and inexpensive.

Greater than one weekThe original handle easily clicked into place. This one does not click unless you push the handle in somewhat hard, but you can fix it! Basically you can take apart the original handle (the purple part with the red locking tab) and reassemble it with the new hose from this product. It takes about 20 minutes - about 2 out of 5 on the difficulty scale. Then you get a brand new hose with the OEM handle, so it clicks into place perfectly. To do this, it looks like you need a special screw driver, but a large flat head jewelers screw driver will remove the screws. You have to pry off the gray cover for the red tab. Then everything slides apart. Theres some wire dangling inside (maybe to ground the tube) but it reassembles and works fine without it. This would definitely be a 5 star product if they would have measured the locking mechanism a little better so you get a good click. As is, Im worried that someone will reinsert the handle and try to pick up the vacuum and it will slide out.

> 3 dayMy old Shark vac hose finally came apart after years of use and stretched to its limits. I love this replacement handle and hose. Very nice quality handle, and the hose seems to be made well. Time will tell. It does stretch farther than the old one. Also good value for the money.

> 3 daywhen the hose on my vacuum cleaner broke I thought I was going to have to throw it away and started looking at new vacuum cleaners when my sister suggested I check Amazon to see if there was a replacement part. I was surprised to see there was. It fit perfectly and saved me a lot of money

> 3 dayIve had this for a couple of weeks now and seems to be working fine. I was glad it was available since mine had a couple of bad holes in the hose. I gave it 4 stars as I was really hoping the hose would be a little longer, as well as be more flexible. It really doesnt seem much longer than the original one. Plus it is still very taut and not flexible which makes it hard to use the hand tools without tipping over the machine. Thats the one big design flaw by Shark.
