Vera Bradley Luggage Tag

> 3 dayI was looking for a smaller Vera bag so I ordered this. Buyers should know that the hardware for the large shoulder strap is plastic and I dont see it surviving a lot of use. I bought this mainly for the trolley sleeve, and will probably have the local shoe/hand bag repair store replace the plastic with metal hardware.

> 3 dayVery cute and sturdy. Plus its colorful so it makes it easy for one to pick out ones luggage in the luggage carousel at the airport. My only complaint is that Very Bradley put their label inside the slot where the card for your name and address goes. It gets in the way when you slide the card in. You cant cut it off and its very annoying. I finally used a knife to keep the darn tag out of the way so I could get the the card all the way in the slot without the tag covering it. The placement of the tag is definatly a design flaw.

> 3 dayInside the tag is a label that makes it very difficult to insert the paper with your information on it.

> 3 dayThe fabric is coated to hold up better through rain and travel. The card was hard to fit back inside due to the VB label also on the inside however one in place it’s not moving. Happy travels!

> 3 dayI just received the Vera Bradley luggage tag in the Snow Leopard pattern. This tag is a big improvement over my last VB tag. I really like having a tag that matches my purse, but my last tag was fabric like the purse; it got dirty and worn where it attacked to my suitcase. This tag is the fabric in the patter, coated by a clear covering - perfect! A simple design change but one that makes a big difference.

> 3 dayDefinitely not the Vera Bradley I have come to know and love. Im pretty sure this is not The Vera Bradley you are thinking of. The clear pocket on the one I was sent has a weird adhesive layer in streaks across the front. Additionally, the luggage tag is not fabric, it feels like vinyl. Also, the Vera Bradley tag that came attached with a cheap plastic loop, is white with a totally different font than the script Vera Bradley on her genuine products. If you are looking for a luggage tag that is genuine Vera Bradley, I do not believe this is the one for you.

> 3 daycan be changed to whatever you need your name info on in a jiffy. Thought it was a bit more expensive than I would like, but it is quite sturdy and should last a good long time.

> 3 dayAlthough the product description says that this luggage tag is made of recycled cotton, that cotton is plasticized so that it wont rip or get soiled. The laminated surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or even soap and water. It also gives the luggage tag extra strength to keep it from being ripped off by baggage handling. The bright, floral pattern makes it easy for me to spot my suitcase on the carousel. I have two minor quibbles One, the strap is too long, and the tag extends farther than Id like. Second, the Vera Bradley tag inside the luggage tab gets in the way of inserting the ID card. That interior label should have been printed or attached elsewhere since its position makes it impossible to cut off. This luggage tag adds a distinctive look to my bag so that I can pick it out at a distance, and it seems sturdy enough to last through the worst baggage handling. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
