They really should include a picture of a person holding this for size reference. I thought this was a lot smaller than what it is, even though the dimensions are clearly indicated. Its big enough to use as a weekender bag, but it will still fit under a plane seat or easily in the overhead. I love travelling with Vera luggage because it is soft and comfortable to carry, and doesnt add a lot of weight itself. This is no exception. It has great inner and outer pockets for organizing your stuff, and two, long, comfortable handles to either hold in your hand, or carry over your shoulder. You could actually even wear it like a backpack if you had your hands full. Its well made with quality zippers and fabric. Definitely a great piece of luggage.

Perfect size to carry on. Was concerned about the VB signature large duffel being a tad too big to be manageable, but the medium seems perfect.

Traveling/overnight bag

This is the second Vera Bradley travel duffel bag that Ive owned, and I cant say enough good things about it. Its lightweight and holds all essentials for an overnight or weekend trip. Interior pockets hold cords and other smaller items with ease. Straps fit nicely over the shoulder for ease of use, and its roomy without being bulky. The print is super fun, too. The extended shoulder strap is padded and can be removed, if needed. I just love this bag!

This is a gorgeous bag. Very well made. Worth every penny.

Bought the bag for my mother-in-law, filled it with body powder, lotions and other nice things. Ordered it in purple, her favorite color.

Its lightweight and I plan to use it as my carryon for an upcoming trip. Hope it works!
