> 3 dayFirst off I want to say that I am upgrading from a 720p 3d viewsonic projector so while I think the picture Im getting on this new model looks freaking amazing, it wouldnt be hard for me to be impressed by any 4k projector that I see now. So that being said the picture is truly mind blowing even with only minor adjustments. Next, gaming looks awesome as well (xbox one). I really did notice faster game play because of the low latency. So now my one and only issue I have. It is not showing 3D correctly. The problem is the picture is severely shaking or flickering. I was able to play 3d fine on my old projector and now this one does not. I even upgraded my bluray to a 4k to see if it fixed the issue and still the same. I am using optical hdmi cables 50ft. From projector to source. Have had zero issues outside of the 3d playback so its not cables or connections. I really feel like my unit is defective. And I will likely return and ask for a replacement. The specs say it does 3d so it shouldnt be an issue.

> 3 dayIve had a Viewsonic PJD5555W (WXGA, 1280x800) for quite a few years and have been waiting for a Viewsonic 1080P projector to come down in price. The PJD5555W has been flawless for almost 6 years and when I saw this one that had the same throw ratio and looked identical as far as connections on the reverse, I ordered it. Its only been a week but so far, so good. Furthermore, it appears to have some functions that the older Viewsonic does not to optimize the image and the brightness is slightly better. Will it last another 6 years? I dont know ... I may not last another 6 years, but so far so good. Very happy with this one.

> 3 dayIt works great, 4k and HDR work fine, the dynamic eco needs some adjusting. If you have white subtitles on a black background, then the dynamic black thing will flicker a bit. The solution was to change the subtitle color to gray or dark gray in VLC and any other video players on PC. It will require a better projector screen than what was acceptible for 1080p. I was using a think white curtain before and now I can see its irregular patterns (couldnt with 1080p) in white scenes.

> 3 dayEl proyector tiene muy buena iluminación y precisión de imagen pero los colores son complicados de ajustar en especial el rojo.

Greater than one weekHands down this is one of the best projectors I have ever used, it blows the water out of the Optoma 4K gaming competitor. The input lag is very, very low and definitely meets or exceeds the advertised 4.5ms. I use this projector primarily for lab research in 1080P mode where latency is a major concern and we are extremely happy with the brightness, response speed, and image quality. The response time in 4k is great as well, but not quite as fast as lower resolutions. Our previous Viewsonic 1080P projector lasted us 10 years, and we still use it today! Happy to have finally found the high quality product we needed, we will definitely continue buying Viewsonic in the future.
