> 3 dayI do not have an RV, but what I do have is a splitter that goes from 30A to multiple 15A outlets. We use it when camping and with a generator. Its not really necessary but it allows us to use one central power cable instead of plugging 2-3 extension cords in. This surge protector may not be needed, but its nice to have less worries. It feels solid, didnt heat up when plugged in, and has a decent plastic shield to reduce the chance of the connection getting wet.

> 3 dayIn May of 2022 while staying at campground with RV hook-ups we happened to be parked next to someone that noticed our lack of surge protector, who then proceeded to tell us a horror story about previously frying the entire electrical system on his rig.
